Tonight is the series premiere of Selfie on ABC at 8/7c. “Instafamous” Eliza Dooley (Karen Gillan) has 263,000 followers who hang on to her every post, tweet, and selfie. But one lonely day, she has a revelation: being friended is not the same as having actual friends. She asks marketing guru Henry (John Cho) to “rebrand” her self-obsessed reputation and teach her how to connect with people in the real world. Loosely based on My Fair Lady, the show explores the modern struggles of Eliza and Henry, as he tries to teach her how to live life offline — whether she “likes” it or not.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Manhattan Love Story on ABC at 8:30/7:30c. The show is an innovative new romantic comedy based on a simple premise: the way to maintain relationships — with a lover, a spouse, a co-worker, a friend, or a family member — is by keeping a majority of thoughts to one’s self. Dana (Analeigh Tipton) and Peter (Jake McDorman), who navigate the complicated terrain of building and maintaining a relationship, are the heart of the story. Throughout the series, the audience will hear Dana’s and Peter’s inner thoughts, offering a fun and revealing look at the differences of men and women as this couple traverse the highs and lows of dating. The show also stars Chloe Wepper, Jade Catta-Preta, Nicolas Wright, & Kurt Fuller.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Happyland on MTV at 11/10c. This soapy teen dramedy explores the underbelly of one of the country’s most popular theme parks, going behind the scenes to reveal the not so magical reality of the park workers. The series centers on Lucy (Bianca Santos, The Fosters), the cynical teenage daughter of idealistic park princess mom, Elena (Camille Guaty, Prison Break). Having grown up in a world of manufactured happiness, Lucy wants to get out and experience something real. When Ian (Shane Harper, Awkward), the new park owner’s son, arrives and sweeps her off her feet, Lucy is left wondering if fairy tale endings do exist after all. But when a scandalous secret turns her life upside down, she learns Happyland is far from a walk in the park. It also stars Katherine McNamara (Contest) as Harper, Cameron Moulene (Raising Hope) as Will, & Ryan Rottman (90210) as Theodore.

Tonight is the series premiere of Stalker on CBS at 10/9c. The show stars Maggie Q (Nikita) and Golden Globe Award winner Dylan McDermott (Hostages, Dark Blue, The Practice) in a psychological thriller about detectives who investigate stalking incidents — including voyeurism, cyber harassment, and romantic fixation — for the Threat Assessment Unit of the LAPD. Det. Jack Larsen (McDermott) is a recent transfer to the Unit from New York City’s homicide division, whose confidence, strong personality and questionable behavior has landed him in trouble before — but whose past behavior may also prove valuable in his new job. His boss, Lt. Beth Davis (Maggie Q), is strong, focused and an expert in the field, driven by her traumatic personal experience as a victim. With the rest of their team, young but eager Det. Ben Caldwell (Victor Rasuk, How to Make it in America) and deceptively smart Det. Janice Lawrence (Mariana Klaveno, Devious Maids), Larsen and Davis assess the threat level of cases and respond before the stalking and intimidation spirals out of control, all while trying to keep their personal obsessions at bay.

Tonight is the series premiere of Bad Judge on NBC at 9/8c. No excuses, no apologies, no compromises. Wild child Rebecca Wright (Kate Walsh, Grey’s Anatomy, Private Practice) knows how to have a good time, but she also happens to be one of L.A.’s toughest and most respected criminal court judges. She has a reputation for unorthodox behavior in the courtroom, including creative rulings and saying exactly what’s on her mind. Her private life, on the other hand, is anything but innocent. She parties too much and rocks out on the drums in a band with her best friend, Jenny. While there’s no shortage of male admirers who would love to spend time with her, she’s not ready to settle down…except when an 8-year-old boy — whose parents were put in jail by Rebecca — needs her help. He may, in fact, be the one thing that starts to tame this “bad” judge. It also stars John Ducey, Ryan Hansen (Veronica Mars, Party Down, Bad Teacher), Theodore Barnes, Tone Bell (Whitney), & Miguel Sandoval (Medium).

Tonight is also the series premiere of Gracepoint on FOX at 9/8c. When a young boy is found dead on an idyllic beach, a major police investigation gets underway in the small northern California seaside town where the tragedy occurred. Soon deemed a homicide, the case turns neighbor against neighbor and sparks a media frenzy, which throws the boy’s family into further turmoil and upends the lives of the town’s residents. This new 10-episode mystery event series is based on Broadchurch, the U.K.’s critically acclaimed hit crime drama. Gracepoint is an expansion of the original series, introducing new characters, identifying new suspects, and threading new story lines through the gripping narrative that will end when secrets are revealed and the killer is caught. It stars David Tennant (Doctor Who & the lead in Broadchurch), Anna Gunn (Breaking Bad), Josh Hamilton (American Horror Story), newcomer Jack Irvine, guest star Nikolas Filipovic (Falling Skies), Michael Peña (End of Watch), Virginia Kull (Boardwalk Empire), newcomer Madalyn Horcher, Kendrick Sampson (The Vampire Diaries), Nick Nolte (Luck), Jacki Weaver (Silver Linings Playbook), Kevin Rankin (Justified), Sarah-Jane Potts (Kinky Boots), Stephen Louis Grush (Lucky 7), Kevin Zegers (Transamerica), & Jessica Lucas (Cloverfield). The riveting crime series carves a powerfully dark wake through the town of Gracepoint with a startling conclusion, as the detectives piece together what happened on the night of Danny’s death.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Food Truck Face Off on Food Network at 8/7c. The show pits two teams against one another to win their own customized food truck. Hosted by Jesse Palmer, four teams with food truck dreams present their unique concepts to an expert panel of judges, but only two teams are chosen to face off in a truck-on-truck showdown. The team that makes the most money over the course of two intense days emerges victorious.

Tonight is also the series premiere of A to Z on NBC at 9:30/8:30c. This is the A-to-Z story of Andrew (Ben Feldman, Mad Men, Drop Dead Diva, Living with Fran) and Zelda (Cristin Milioti, How I Met Your Mother) — a pair that almost wasn’t — and all that happened from the day they met. Andrew has always been a secret romantic…not above crooning to Celine Dion while driving to work, with dreams of finding “the one.” He imagines her to be just like that shimmering beauty he spotted that night in that silver dress at that concert two years ago. Zelda, having grown up with a hippie mom who believed the universe would provide for everything, rebelled into a no-nonsense practical lawyer who prefers the control of online dating. But when a computer glitch sends her a total mismatch, she’s asked to come in for an interview at the Internet dating site where Andrew works, and this is where it all begins. Andrew and Zelda meet for the first time and despite their differences, sparks fly. She thinks it’s chance. He thinks it’s fate. After all, he’s convinced she’s the shimmering girl in the silver dress. Is it true love forever or just a detour in destiny? It also stars Christina Kirk, Henry Zebrowski, Katey Sagal (as Narrator), & Leonora Crichlow.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Dead Again on A&E at 10/9c. The nonfiction series from Dick Wolf follows a top team of detectives who will re-examine controversial murder cases in which unresolved questions still linger long after the verdict was determined. The elite team of investigators include Detective Michelle Wood, a homicide officer from Chicago with 13 years on the force; Detective Joe Schillaci, a 30-year veteran of the Miami PD with a background in homicide and undercover work, and fan-favorite from The First 48; and Kevin “Spider” Gannon, a retired NYPD detective and supervisor. With no prior knowledge of the crime or the verdict, Michelle, Joe and Kevin will begin each investigation at a meticulously reconstructed crime scene and work the case, interviewing witnesses, forensic specialists and other key players. The question is: will they come to the same conclusion as in the original case? Or will they uncover new evidence that the killer could still be out there?

Cam Calloway, along with his cousin and confidant Reggie Vaughn, move to Georgia to start Cam’s journey to success. The two confront the challenges of carrying opportunistic family members and their strong ties to the impoverished community that they come from.
