Tonight is the series premiere of Hair Jacked on TruTV at 8/7c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 8:30/7:30c. This is a hilarious, high-energy ambush game show in which unsuspecting contestants have the chance to win cash, all while getting a haircut. But they have to play smart because one wrong answer could send them packing with the worst hairstyle of their lives.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Fake Off on TruTV at 10/9c. The show will take viewers into the visually stunning world of faking, a mix of theater, acrobatics, black light and illusion. In an elimination competition unlike anything American audiences have seen, teams will be challenged to reimagine iconic moments in pop culture to see who’s got the creativity and skills to be named “Fake Off” Champions and take home a prize of $100,000. It’s hosted by actor and dancer Rob Hoffman (Step Up 2: The Streets, 90210). Each week’s competition challenge will be judged by an impressive panel that includes actor-dancer-choreographer Harry Shum Jr. (Glee, The LXD); music superstar and five-time Grammy winner Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of the mega-group TLC; and world renowned visual & concept designer Michael Curry (Broadway’s The Lion King, Cirque du Soleil’s Love).

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Mike Tyson Mysteries on Cartoon Network at 10:30/9:30c. The show stars Mike Tyson himself. He is taking the fight from the boxing ring to the streets…by solving mysteries! Aided by the “Mike Tyson Mystery Team”–the Ghost of the Marquess of Queensberry, Mike’s adopted Korean daughter Yung Hee, and a pigeon who was once a man–Mike Tyson will answer any plea sent to him. If you have a problem that needs solving, Iron Mike is in your corner. The gloves come off in this quarter-hour series as the former heavyweight champ and his team gears up for weekly adventures as they put unsolved mysteries down for the count. It also stars Jim Rash, Norm Macdonald, & Rachel Ramras.

Tonight is the series premiere of How to Be a Grown Up on TruTV at 10/9c. This is an extremely funny take on advice shows, with top-name comics offering humorous guidance and common-sense solutions to universal issues facing all adults who feel like they’re a kid stuck in a grown-up body. The advice is delivered through interviews, sketches and animation. If you’re 40-going-on-21, this is the series for you.

Tonight is also the series premiere of My Crazy Love on Oxygen at 10/9c. This anthology series follows the wild, romantic and hilarious things men and women have done in the name of love. Each week, real people share their personal stories about a time in their life when the intoxication of love led them to extreme behavior and embarrassing acts. From jumping out of a plane to hiding out in a girlfriend’s closet, this series reveals it all through stylized reenactments and interviews. Celebrities such as Adrienne Bailon (Nail’d It and The Real) and Cheryl Burke (Dancing With the Stars) also confess their outrageous stories. With amazing twists, turns and shocking revelations, did these lovers’ bold gestures work or did they take it too far?

Tonight is also the series premiere of Prison Wives Club on Lifetime at 10/9c. The new Lifetime docuseries Prison Wives Club (#PrisonWivesClub) follows four women living with their decisions to fall in love with and remain married to convicted felons. While facing judgment from their friends and families, each episode explores how these women struggle to find normalcy despite their unconventional choices when it comes to the men in their lives. Restricted to limited contact with their spouses who are serving sentences ranging from 10 years to life, the ladies band together for support; but this group comes with its own sentence as they don’t always agree on how to behave as a wife on the “outside.”

Tonight is also the series premiere of Benched on USA Network at 10:30/9:30c. Starring Eliza Coupe (Happy Endings), this is a single-camera comedy about a high-powered corporate lawyer’s fall from grace into the rough-and-tumble world of the public defenders. Coupe stars as Nina Whitley, a distinguished corporate lawyer who has given up everything in her climb to the top. However, when she’s hit with her ex-fiancé’s engagement announcement and learns that she hasn’t made partner at her high power firm, Nina snaps–breaking vases and burning bridges. Now that Nina is shunned from the corporate world, the only place she can get a job is at the Public Defender’s office: home to the underfunded, understaffed, overworked, “if you can’t afford a lawyer, one will be provided…” lawyers. In addition to her new clients, Nina must learn to connect with her co-workers, including the roguish Phil (Jay Harrington, Better Off Ted), the idealistic Carlos (Oscar Nunez, The Office), the useless empathetic Cheryl (Maria Bamford, Adventure Time), and the dedicated intern Micah (Jolene Purdy, Under the Dome). If that didn’t sound tough enough for Nina, she’ll also be going head-to-head with her ex-fiancé, Trent, (Carter MacIntyre, Drop Dead Diva), the rising star of the District Attorney’s office.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Friends of the People on TruTV at 10:30/9:30c. In this first-ever sketch-comedy series, comedians Kevin Barnett, Jennifer Bartels, Jermaine Fowler, Lil Rel Howery, The Lucas Bros., and Josh Rabinowitz will take sketch comedy to the next level, with a combination of scripted scenes, man-on-the-street segments and more, including a previously-untold story from television history, and the adventures of “Tracy Morgan Freeman.”

Tonight is the series premiere of The McCarthys on CBS at 9:30/8:30c. This is a multi-camera comedy about a loud, sports-crazed Boston family whose somewhat athletically challenged son, Ronny (Tyler Ritter), is chosen by his father to be his assistant high school basketball coach, much to the surprise of his more qualified siblings. Ronny wants nothing more than to move away, join the singles scene and find a partner. His distraught mother, Marjorie (Laurie Metcalf), is not upset that her favorite son is gay, but that he wants to leave Boston and his family. Ronny’s plans change, however, when his politically incorrect and outspoken father, Arthur (Jack McGee), stuns everyone with his choice for an assistant. Touched by his father’s offer, Ronny embarks on a completely different future – and he can be sure that his loving, tight-knit family is going to have a very vocal opinion about it. Jimmy Dunn, Joey McIntyre and Kelen Coleman also star.

Tonight is also the 90-minute series premiere of Slednecks on MTV at 10/9c. The weekly half-hour comedic docu-series follows a close group of adventurous friends living in rural Wasilla, Alaska. Polar Bear plunges, airboating on ice, glacier parties, river wakeboarding, and human catapulting are just some of the action-packed adventures these ‘Slednecks’ get into, while also navigating dramatic friendships and relationships in the prime of their lives. With mountains and rivers as their playground, these friends make the most of what they have while always having a blast.

I love your site. It is my TV Guide. My only wish is that you have the listings for the week ahead as well.I would love to know what is coming on new next week.

Thanks for all the you do.

Thank you, Allen! Right now, I just don’t see a way that I’d have time to do a week ahead, simply because it takes SEVERAL hours to do the weekly schedule…and sometimes that changes quite a few times before the actual airtime. But it’s something I can look into. 🙂 I’m glad you enjoy it!
