What a World Series it’s been. Talk about a nail biter! My Royals are still in it, but gah, they’re killing me! As for the rest of TV, we’ve had our first cancellation (Manhattan Love Story), but I have a feeling we’ll see a few more soon. For tonight, though, check out what Kyle & I are recommending.
There was some possibly bad news for CSI fans this week, too… Its episode order number was cut back to 18 from 22. They say that although the ratings are down double digits from its Season 14 average, it’s maintaining the time-period’s year-ago average in viewers and adults 18-49. They’re trying to make room for the new CSI: Cyber and Battle Creek. But I dunno. I love the show. I hope this isn’t a prediction for the future of the series…
Regardless, CSI is my pick for tonight because I do love it, and tonight looks like it’ll be a fun episode. Last week was great too—a Chemistry teacher was killed accidentally when the killer—another teacher at the school and a mother to one of the students—was trying to kill a student. She was part of a group of Wiccans and hoped (believed?) that she could cast a spell using the other kid’s blood that would heal her son, who was very, very sick. It was an incredibly sad but a really great episode.
On tonight’s episode, “Girls Gone Wilder,” Morgan, Sidle, and Finlay try to relax at a forensics conference when a mass shooting occurs on site.
See the women go wild tonight on CBS at 10:30/9:30c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Guy’s Grocery Games, Halloween Wars, Catch a Contractor, & Cutthroat Kitchen.

On last week’s episode of The Walking Dead, the gang rescued a priest, Gabriel, from a walker attack, and he brought the group back to his church. He told them about another location that was being used to store the goods from a canned food drive but that it had been overrun by walkers. Rick suspected that Gabriel was hiding something, so he took him with them when they went to clear out the house and get the food. Meanwhile, Tara confessed to Maggie about being a part of the Governor’s group back at the prison, but Maggie granted her forgiveness; and Daryl and Carol drove off in pursuit of the car that belonged to Beth’s kidnappers. Back at the church, someone knocked out and kidnapped Bob under the cover of darkness. When Bob awoke, he found himself tied up, with one leg missing and Gareth and some other Terminus folks enjoying a Bob-B-Que.
Will Carol and Daryl find Beth? Will the others discover Bob is missing, and will they be able to save him before even more of him becomes dinner? Will the Terminus folks attack the church? What secret is Gabriel hiding, and what kind of danger does it pose for Rick and the gang? This season is off of a great start!
On tonight’s episode, “Four Walls and a Roof,” Rick and the group find themselves pitted against some nasty people.
To see if they find Bob and Beth, tune in to AMC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, CSI, Once Upon a Time, Resurrection, Guy’s Grocery Games, Talking Dead, The Dorm, Homeland, and The Affair. Plus the 12-hour marathon of every “Treehouse of Horror” episode of The Simpsons starting at noon ET on FXX.
