If We Controlled Your Remote… 11/2/14

We have indeed seen more cancellations…nearly 2 1/2 months after the season starts. A to Z and Bad Judge were both cancelled by NBC. Seems like they’ll finish airing their filmed episodes, as of this moment, anyway. We’ll see. As for tonight, Kyle & I have some recommendations for what to watch that don’t include those two shows. *grin*

Jenny’s Choice

csi1026smallI wrote this up for last week, but because football ran over so late, it didn’t air. So you get my lovely view again because I’m still recommending it. 😉

CSI is my pick for tonight because I do love it, and tonight looks like it’ll be a fun episode. The last new ep was great too—a chemistry teacher was killed accidentally when the killer—another teacher at the school and a mother to one of the students—was trying to kill a student. She was part of a group of Wiccans and hoped (believed?) that she could cast a spell using the other kid’s blood that would heal her son, who was very, very sick. It was an incredibly sad but a really great episode.

On tonight’s episode, “Girls Gone Wilder,” Morgan, Sidle, and Finlay try to relax at a forensics conference when a mass shooting occurs on site.

See the women go wild tonight on CBS at 10:30/9:30c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing America’s Funniest Home Videos, Guy’s Grocery Games, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Catch a Contractor, & Cutthroat Kitchen.

Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.

bobsburgers112smallAfter a month away due to baseball, Bob’s Burgers finally returns to Fox tonight for a better-late-than-never Halloween episode. I always look forward to these annual Halloween episodes, as they are always a fun part of family shows like this—they remind me of my own childhood trick-or-treating experiences (well, maybe these stories are a little more exciting).

Two years ago, we saw Tina, Gene, and Louise on a quest to get to the houses that give out the full-size candy bars, and last year the kids’ trick-or-treating came to a sudden halt when they got trapped in a cardboard fort by Louise’s crazy friend Millie. I can’t wait to see what wild Halloween-themed adventure the Belcher kids go on tonight and what unique and creative costumes they come up with this year!

On tonight’s episode, “Tina and the Real Ghost,” Tina becomes romantically involved with a spirit who is believed to be reside in the Belcher’s basement.

To see the Halloween fun extended for one more night, tune in to FOX at 7:30/6:30c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, CSI, Once Upon a Time, Resurrection, The Simpsons, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, Mulaney, The Walking Dead, Olive Kitteridge, Homeland, and The Affair.
