scorpion323smallMy pick tonight is the new episode of Scorpion, which is back after having last week off. On the last new episode, the world was on the verge of WWIII if three Eastern European countries couldn’t come to a peace treaty. The leaders of each of the countries met in the US, and Scorpion was there to help hide the fact that those leaders weren’t still at home in their own countries. In the end, when one of the leaders was poisoned, Scorpion was able to not only figure out who did it and which snake’s venom they used, but after Walter forced a snakebite on himself, they were able to get the correct snake and fix an anti-venom for it. Both Walter and the foreign leader were saved, and the three leaders signed a peace treaty with no one being the wiser about how close it had come to war.

Highlights of the episode include Walter, Paige, and Happy stealing a taco truck, Happy kissing Toby, learning Cabe has a secret about the software Walter invented when he was a kid—he had more to do with the way it was used than Walter thinks, maybe?—and Walter nearly spilling to Paige as he was nearly delusional from the snake’s venom about the Valentine’s date he’d planned, as well as him arranging it so Paige wouldn’t miss her final for her college class. And how cute was it when he said he was proud of her?

On tonight’s episode, “Young Hearts Spark Fire,” while on a mission to save lost hikers, Team Scorpion’s helicopter crashes, igniting a massive wildfire that quickly closes in on them. Also, Sylvester must help their injured pilot who is unable to make it to safer ground.

See how the team makes it out of the flames tonight on CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing 2 Broke Girls, Mike & Molly, Food Fortunes, NCIS: LA, & Castle.

ncisla323smallNCIS: LA continues to deliver great episodes that keep us on the edge of our seats, even though it’s almost the end of the season—words I type with sadness because I’m going to miss this show when it’s on hiatus. Last episode, we watched as Sam returned to work after being shot and everyone was worried about him, but he held his own as usual. The team investigated the death of an Afghanistan soldier and the disappearance of two others who were all training in the US. The team raced to find them before they were tortured to give up delicate information. It was an intense episode, and I was kind of sad for Callen as he noticed that he didn’t have as much in common with Sam as he thought, but that doesn’t change the fact they’re still best friends. I can’t wait to see what happens when Kensi and Deeks’s relationship comes out and if it’ll change the dynamics of the entire team.

On tonight’s episode, “Fighting Shadows,” when three FBI agents are killed in an explosion following a successful undercover sting operation, the team searches for the person behind the attack. Meanwhile, Deeks and Kensi realize the team knows about their relationship, as Hetty pairs Kensi with Sam and Deeks with Callen during the investigation.

To see how everything unfolds, tune in to CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching The Voice, The Following, Mike & Molly, Bates Motel, 2 Broke Girls, Scorpion, and Better Call Saul.

chasinglife323smallTonight, the first season of Chasing Life comes to a close. In last week’s episode, April’s boss put pressure on all the employees, saying they needed to start posting more stories online and faster. This quickly put an end to the cooperative and supportive relationship April had with coworker Danny, as they both competed to get the same scoops and stories. Meanwhile, Natalie and Dominic decided to come clean about their relationship; and while cleaning out a storage unit filled with Thomas’s possessions, Sarah realized she still had feelings for George, but when she went to surprise him at a conference, she discovered he had already moved on. Last week’s episode ended with April’s doctor looking down at some charts and then sadly calling April saying that she needed to speak with her.

This can’t be good news for April! How bad is her prognosis? Is there anything else that can be done? Will this news, plus the added stress at work, cause April to reassess just how much she wants that job and make a major life change? The end of last week’s episode seemed like a proper season finale cliffhanger, so I’m wondering what kind of major cliffhanger bomb they are going to drop tonight!

On tonight’s episode, “One Day,” April gets jolted with bad news, but she tries to remain strong for her loved ones. Meanwhile, April’s newspaper faces staffing cutbacks; and Brenna discovers her bone marrow could help save an anonymous patient.

Find out how the season ends tonight on ABC Family at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Castle, The Following, Bates Motel, The Returned, and Better Call Saul.
