Tonight is the series premiere of UnREAL on Lifetime at 10/9c. Set against the backdrop of the hit dating competition show Everlasting, UnREAL is led by flawed heroine Rachel Goldberg (Shiri Appleby, Girls), a young producer whose sole job is to manipulate her relationships with, and among, the contestants to get the vital dramatic and outrageous footage that the program’s dispassionate executive producer, Quinn King (Constance Zimmer, House of Cards, Entourage), demands. What ensues is an eye-opening look at what happens in the outrageous world of unscripted television, where being a contestant can be vicious and being a producer a whole other reality. UnREAL also stars Craig Bierko (Damages) as Everlasting’s eccentric creator, Chet; and Freddie Stroma (Pitch Perfect) as the dating show’s handsome and intelligent suitor, Adam Cromwell. Josh Kelly (One Life to Live) plays Jeremy, a cameraman who is Rachel’s ex-boyfriend, while Siobhan Williams (Black Box) is Lizzie, Jeremy’s current fiancée and on-set makeup artist. Everlasting’s contestants include Grace, portrayed by Nathalie Kelley (The Fast and the Furious), who immediately wins Adam’s heart; Anna, played by Johanna Braddy (Shameless), who is classy and shrewd, with her eye on the prize; Faith, a sensitive and vulnerable tomboy from the South portrayed by Breeda Wool (Betas); and Mary, played by Ashley Scott (Jericho), a gorgeous single mom who has been unlucky in love. Arielle Kebbel (The Vampire Diaries) will guest star as Britney, a contestant who has no filter and isn’t on Everlasting to make any friends.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Whispers on ABC at 10:01/9:01c. We love to play games with our children. But what happens when someone else starts to play with them, too? Someone we don’t know. Can’t see. Can’t hear. Someone — or something — is manipulating the ones we love most to commit the unthinkable. In the country’s center of political power, Washington D.C., several kids have been talking about their imaginary friend, Drill. What the parents don’t know is that this friend is not as imaginary as they think. And when the mysterious games Drill convinces them to play turn dangerous, FBI child specialist Claire Bennigan is called in to investigate. What is it that Drill wants, and why does he — or it — only communicate with children? As the clock counts down, a suspenseful race will begin to save not only their families, but the world. Before it’s too late. The Whispers” stars Lily Rabe as Claire Bennigan, Barry Sloane as Wes Lawrence, Milo Ventimiglia as John Doe, Derek Webster as Jessup Rollins, Kristen Connolly as Lena Lawrence, Kylie Rogers as Minx Lawrence and Kyle Harrison Breitkopf as Henry Bennigan.

Tonight is the series premiere of Junk Food Flip on Cooking Channel at 9/8c. The show follows Bobby Deen and Nikki Dinki as they travel the country looking for the most-delicious guilty pleasures that they can flip into lighter dishes that are still indulgent and taste great but can be eaten every day. When they find the right dish, Nikki and Bobby issue a challenge to the owners of the restaurant that created it: If people think their version is as delicious as the original, then it goes on the menu. If not? The owners get bragging rights … and cash. The two dishes then go head-to-head in a fun-filled showdown where a hungry crowd of locals determines which version they enjoy the most.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Stitchers on ABC Family at 9/8c. The show follows Kirsten, a young woman recruited into a covert government agency to be “stitched” into the minds of the recently deceased, using their memories to investigate murders and decipher mysteries that otherwise would have gone to the grave. Working alongside Kirsten is Cameron, a brilliant neuroscientist whose passion for the program is evident in his work. The secret program is headed by Maggie, a skilled veteran of covert operations, and includes Linus, a socially immature bioelectrical engineer and communications technician. Kirsten’s roommate, Camille, a gifted computer science grad student, is also recruited to use her skills to assist Kirsten in her new role as a “stitcher.” The show stars newcomer Emma Ishta as Kirsten, Kyle Harris (Carrie Diaries) as Cameron, Ritesh Rajan (upcoming Jungle Book feature) as Linus, Salli Richardson-Whitfield (Eureka, I Am Legend) as Maggie, and Allison Scagliotti (Warehouse 13) as Camille.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Secrets & Wives on Bravo at 10/9c. The show joins the inner circle of an affluent, tight-knit group of long-time girlfriends who grew up on Long Island. Navigating the pitfalls of marriage and divorce, these six women — Andi Black, Susan Doneson, Cori Goldfarb, Gail Greenberg, Amy Miller and Liza Sandler — are all going through the process of reinventing themselves under the microscope of family, friends and exes. Throughout the season, this sisterhood of friends will come together and take on some of life’s biggest challenges. From second or third divorces, new marriages, searching for love, and adjusting to an empty nest, every conflict is fraught with decades of real baggage. Years of memories are amongst this intertwined group of women, but can they come together for the moments that truly matter most?
