Tonight is the series premiere of Southern Fried Road Trip on Food Network at 10/9c. Southern pride and southern food go together like biscuits and gravy. The Deen brothers will embark on a “southern fried road trip,” discovering some of the best local delicacies and outdoor adventures the south has to offer. Along the way they will celebrate all the people, places and pride of Dixie, from gumbo and gator on the banks of the Bayou in Louisiana, to horseracing and bourbon in the heart of Kentucky, and to brisket and blues music in Mississippi. No one knows the south and good ol’ southern cooking like Bobby and Jamie Deen!

Tonight is also the series premiere of Cuban Chrome on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. This is the first American television series to be produced entirely on location in Cuba. After the 1959 Cuban Revolution and the subsequent United States embargo, it has been illegal to import American cars to the island nation; as a result, Cuba’s vintage American vehicles are frozen in time. For Cubans, these cars are not just a means of transportation, but a way of life. The show will give viewers an intimate look into this rarely seen country as they meet the men and women who put everything on the line to keep these classic cars running.

Tonight is the series premiere of Land Rush on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Four modern-day pioneers face the challenge of their lives when they head into the Alaskan wilderness to build dream homesteads and live off the land. Woodsman Danny Knowles plans to build his log cabin by hand. Single mother Tiffany Allen wants to raise her eight-year-old son on a remote mountainside, surrounded by wildlife. Sea captain Greg Gabriel has a million-dollar view from his island site, but he must carry everything in by boat. Military veteran Jim Jones enlists an old Navy friend to help him find his land, but they get off to a rough start.

Tonight is also the series premiere of My Giant Life on TLC at 10/9c. In this show, viewers step into the shoes of women who are seemingly too tall and lofty for the average-sized world, standing at six feet six inches and above. They are faced with challenges every day — some because their extreme height makes performing seemingly mundane tasks like loading the dishwasher and getting into a car extremely difficult and others because the eyes of society are not as friendly to women of their stature. As a young lady that is a foot taller than the average female, life is anything but easy! From dating difficulties to simply going to the grocery store without stares, the stories in each episode get right to the heart of what it means to live life blessed with an extra foot or more.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of We’re Moving In on FYI at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. The show takes home renovation and decorating to a whole new digital level. With the guidance of design specialists, Britany Simon and James Connelly, new housemates get the help they need in order to make their visions come alive with innovative, do-it-yourself ideas from Pinterest. No matter how long two people have known each other, the challenge of moving in together and blending design styles can be a daunting task. In each episode of “We’re Moving In,” hosts and interior designers, Britany Simon and James Connelly, meet new housemates — from recently married couples, to roommates, to blended families — that are at odds with living together because of their conflicting design styles.

Tonight is the series premiere of I Am Jazz on TLC at 10/9c. Jazz Jennings has the life of a typical teenage girl — balancing school, sports, family, and more — with one difference: when she was born, everyone assumed she was a boy, but as soon as she could talk, she let her family know that she was really a girl. Beginning her transition at the age of five, Jazz is now a 14-year-old girl, preparing to enter high school. Living as a transgender teen comes with a unique perspective and some unexpected day-to-day experiences but, surrounded by her loving family and friends, Jazz proves that some of the most remarkable people are also the most relatable. Throughout the season, viewers follow as Jazz prepares to start her new school in the fall, faces decisions regarding her health, has to choose between her passion for soccer and spending more time with friends, and navigates entering the dating world.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Jim Gaffigan Show on TV Land at 10/9c. The series stars and is inspired by the real life of comedian, actor, and New York Times best-selling author Jim Gaffigan, chronicling one man’s struggle in New York City to find a balance between fatherhood, stand-up comedy, and an insatiable appetite. Also starring in the series is Ashley Williams as Jim’s off-beat Catholic wife, Jeannie; Adam Goldberg as Jim’s aggressively single comedian friend, Dave; and Michael Ian Black as Daniel, Jeannie’s gay ex-boyfriend and confidante, who is also Jim’s biggest critic. Tongayi Chirisa co-stars, playing Jim and Jeannie’s endearing priest, Father Nicholas. Throughout the season, there will also be special celebrity cameos by Chris Rock, Steve Buscemi, Rachel Maddow, Keith Olbermann, Lawrence O’Donnell, Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, Dave Attell, Hannibal Buress, Macaulay Culkin, Janeane Garofalo among others.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Impastor on TV Land at 10:30/9:30c. This dark comedy stars Michael Rosenbaum (Smallville) as Buddy Dobbs, a slacker on the run from his gambling debt. Just when he’s about to end his misery and jump off a bridge, a reverend shows up and talks him down. When the reverend slips off the bridge and falls to his death, he leaves Buddy with the unlikely opportunity to steal the man’s identity and pose as the new gay pastor of a small, tight-knight town, leaving his bartender ex-girlfriend Leanne (Aimee Garcia) to clean up the huge mess he left behind. Buddy begins to settle into his new life as a pastor with the help of his preppy new assistant Dora (Sara Rue), alluring church treasurer Alexa (Mircea Monroe), and enthusiastic secretary Russell (Mike Kosinski)…but the church president, Alden Schmidt (David Rasche) senses that something isn’t quite right. Curing sex crazed teenagers, stealing kids’ weed and reading Bible scripture may not be a bad gig for Buddy after all. Only time will tell how long he can keep up the façade.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Lachey’s Bar on A&E at 10:30/9:30c. The show follows brothers Nick and Drew Lachey as they fulfill a lifelong dream of opening a bar in their hometown of Cincinnati. From crafting artisanal beers and designing the menu, to knocking down walls and building the actual bar, these brothers will be rolling up their sleeves and learning everything about running a business on the fly. On top of that, they’re both juggling family and career duties. Drew and his wife Lea live their lives in Cincinnati full time with their kids while Nick and his wife Vanessa split their time between Cincinnati and Los Angeles and are preparing to welcome a new baby into the family. Despite hectic schedules, deep-seated sibling rivalry and clashes over how to run a business, these hometown heroes are committed to making their dream a reality – no matter what it takes.

Tonight is the series premiere of Sex&Drugs&Rock&Roll on FX at 10/9c. Denis Leary created and stars as “Johnny Rock,” lead singer of a legendary early 90s New York band called The Heathens. Known for living up to their name, the band partied so long and so hard that even Keith Richards thought they needed to slow things down. The Heathens were on the brink of becoming famous for their kickass live shows and the release of their highly anticipated first album. Until they broke up. The same day the album dropped. Because lead guitarist Flash (John Corbett) found Johnny in bed with his wife. So the band became legendary for all the wrong reasons — like self-destructing sooner than any group in rock ‘n’ roll history. Twenty-five years later the only thing bigger than Johnny’s ego is his prostate. The drugs he really needs now aren’t cocaine and marijuana — they’re Crestor, Cymbalta and Cialis. He’s out of work, out of money and out of show business options. That’s when a massively talented young singer named Gigi (Elizabeth Gillies) shows up — with a burning desire to be famous, a throwback appreciation for The Heathens’ only album, and a stack of cash big enough to bring the whole band back into the studio. Only this time, SHE’S the lead singer and Johnny’s just a behind the scenes songwriter. John Ales, Bobby Kelly and Elaine Hendrix round out the rest of this dysfunctional rock and roll family. The race is on to see who gets famous first — and for what reason.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Geeks Who Drink on Syfy at 11/10c. Zachary Levi executive produces and hosts this new, original weekly game show based on the nationwide pub trivia contest of the same name. In each installment, two teams of self-proclaimed “trivia geeks” (including a celebrity captain) battle it out in rapid-fire quizzes that cover topics from pop culture to science fiction. After three rounds of raucous game-play and (mostly) friendly competition, the winning team will earn bragging rights, a spot on the Geeks Who Drink leaderboard and a bevy of prizes to geek out over.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Reactor on Syfy at 11:30/10:30c. Hosted by comedian and genre superfan David Huntsberger, the show celebrates all the things sci-fi fans are talking about that week. Through Huntsberger’s unique and comedic point of view, Reactor tackles everything hot in science fiction — from movies and television to comics — via exclusive clips, comedic sketches, the latest must-watch trailers, and mash ups. Shot before a live audience, the weekly series will also feature celebrity guest appearances.

Tonight is the series premiere of Treasure Quest: Snake Island on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. For 400 years, many have searched, fought, and died looking for this elusive bounty. But all have failed to hold on to it. This show will take viewers along an epic journey with an elite team of treasure hunters who have a new theory on where the treasure lies — a remote spot home to 1,000s of deadly vipers.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Burgers, Brew & ‘Que on Food network at 10:30/9:30c. Meat lovers, rejoice! Michael Symon is taking a summer road trip to taste the best of the American classics: burgers and barbecue. Whether it’s mouthwatering, mile-high cheeseburgers or slow-smoked, fall-off-the-bone ribs, Michael is going to eat and meet his way through some of the best all-American spots to get your grub on. And what better way to wash it all down than with local beers and brews, sure to make any meal a perfect 10. So, get ready to get full, because you don’t want to miss the delicious flavors of Burgers, Brew & ‘Que.
