Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!
Week after week, the Regan family on Blue Bloods show us what real family bonds look like and they help keep New York safe at the same time. Last week, we saw as the DA put Erin on the case of the cops being arrested for tampering with records. Eddie got arrested for making a parking violation disappear. Erin didn’t want the case, and Frank definitely didn’t want her working it, but she needed to prove to the entire office that she doesn’t take sides, even for her father. In the end, Erin worked things out, and hopefully from now on, the police and the District Attorney’s office will work in unison. I don’t blame the family for being upset about Erin being on the case, but at the same time I understand that she didn’t have a choice. I’m glad it all looks like it’s going to work out for the best.
On tonight’s episode, “Unsung Heroes,” when Danny and his family are threatened by Thomas Wilder, a serial killer Danny has been unable to apprehend, Linda’s concern intensifies over her husband’s job as well as the state of their marriage. Also, Jamie challenges his superior officer, Sgt. William Mulvey, during a hostage situation.
To see if Linda and Danny can work this problem out, tune in to CBS at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching The Amazing Race, Hawaii Five-0, Grimm, and MasterChef: Junior.
Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.
On last week’s Grimm, Nick brought Adalind and baby Kelly home with him. It was really awkward between them and even Rosalee, who came to visit and see if Adalind needed any help. It’s hard for me to watch Adalind without being uber-suspicious of her. It doesn’t seem like producers are setting us up for something. Indeed, it seems like she’s a changed woman. But I can’t help but wait for the other shoe to drop. There was more with the big bad coming on this episode too. A man was murdered by his Wesen employee, who seemed to those “not in the know” to be a meek, mild-mannered…well, wimp. But he was a nasty, vicious monster, teamed up with the assistant for his boss, the murder victim, and in the end, she killed herself, rather than being taken in alive. They were part of whatever group is coming, the one the FBI agent tried to explain to Nick on the season premiere. So who IS this group? What’s their agenda? Hopefully we’ll start to get explanations, rather than more questions!
On tonight’s episode, “Lost Boys,” Rosalee goes missing after a band of orphaned children target her as the mother figure they have always wanted. With a furious Monroe by their side, Nick and Hank race against the clock to find Rosalee after discovering a connection to an earlier missing persons case that didn’t end have a happy ending. Meanwhile, Adalind ponders a return to her career after running in to an old colleague.
See how Monroe, Nick, and Hank are able to rescue Rosalee tonight on NBC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Amazing Race, Last Man Standing, MasterChef: Junior, Undateable, Truth Be Told, Hawaii Five-0, Blue Bloods, & BBQ Blitz.
When I was looking over tonight’s TV schedule, one thing that immediately caught my eye was a film called Cowboys vs. Dinosaurs. This movie is a direct-to-VOD release from May (no doubt timed to cash in on Jurassic World’s success) that has now made its way to TV. While it’s airing on the El Rey network, it looks more like one of those fun, crazy Syfy channel B-movies.
A group of miners looking for precious metal accidentally unearth a pack of deadly dinosaurs that quickly start wreaking havoc on a small Montana town. At the same time, local cowboy Val Walker (Rib Hillis, Sharktopus vs. Pteracuda), who left three years prior to pursue a rodeo career, returns home following a an accident with a bull. His former girlfriend Sky (Casey Fitzgerald) is now in a relationship with local sheriff Henry (John Freeman, Road Wars), and his father Trent (Eric Roberts, Lost Girl) has become the town drunk. But it’s up to Val to lead this ragtag group of gunsligers to take down the terrorizing Jurassic menace.
The film comes from producer Ari Novak – who created Rise of the Dinosaurs for Syfy a couple years ago – and also stars Vernon Wells (The Road Warrior), Sara Malakul Lane, Kelcey Watson, Nick Andrews, Stephanie Michelle Bonner, Madison Kent, & Mark Murphy.
While I’m not suggesting in any way that this film will be “good,” I do think it looks like it will be a really fun, cheesy movie! I just wish my cable provider carried El Rey so I could check it out!
See if the cowboys can rope the dinosaurs tonight on El Rey at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Amazing Race, Undateable, Truth Be Told, Grimm, MasterChef: Junior, Z Nation, and The Knick.
