Tonight is the series premiere of Feed the Beast on AMC at 10/9c. Starring David Schwimmer (American Crime Story, Band of Brothers, Friends) and Jim Sturgess (21, Across the Universe, Cloud Atlas), the series is about two best friends, Tommy Moran (Schwimmer) and Dion Patras (Sturgess), who take one last shot at their dream of opening a restaurant. Feed the Beast tells the story of Tommy (Schwimmer) and Dion (Sturgess), who are like brothers. With all the love — and all the complications — that comes with it. Dion can’t stay out of trouble. Tommy can’t move past it. For two friends on the brink of losing everything, a dusty pipe dream of opening up an upscale restaurant in their hometown of the Bronx is all they have left to turn their lives around.

Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of Barbarians Rising on History Channel at 9/8c. The show tells the story of the rise and fall of the Roman Empire from the perspective of the barbarian leaders who brought it down; a high-impact, visceral journey into the heart of their rebellions against absolute power. The Roman Empire called them “barbarians” — tribes the Romans viewed as beyond the fringe of civilization, who lived a brutish and violent existence. But they were also some of the fiercest warriors in history – men and women who rose up to resist so that they might live free, or die. The eight-part/ four-week docu-drama reveals the true story of the 700-year battle to bring down one of the strongest empires the world has ever known, an epic fight for freedom that shaped the world to come. Featuring fully dramatized portrayals of barbarian icons including Hannibal, Spartacus, Arminius, Boudica and Attila, and an eclectic group of experts and contributors to reveal the true history behind the legends.

Tonight is the series premiere of Big Bad BBQ Brawl on Cooking Channel at 9/8c. Brooklyn’s Shannon Ambrosio is one of New York’s biggest BBQ mavericks, and this summer the chef and his crew are heading out of town to put their Northern BBQ skills to the test against expert pit masters in the South in the four-episode series Big Bad BBQ Brawl. Shannon’s fiery road battle visits the BBQ scenes of Alabama, Georgia, Mississippi and South Carolina, where smoking meat low and slow is an art.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Dark Woods Justice on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Deep in the heart of Washington’s Olympic Peninsula lies one of the country’s last great forests – one so massive and diverse that it has been called America’s “Last Untamed Wilderness.” With land stretching over 2,000 square miles and containing some of the rarest and most ancient trees on earth, this vast forest hides dark secrets, including an illicit underground black market of natural resource theft. However, Sheriff’s deputies throughout the region have sworn to protect their communities and the forest at all costs. The Olympic Peninsula grows trees so valuable and coveted that poachers are risking prison time and their lives to steal them. Trees like the Western Big Leaf Maple bring in millions as their wood is used to create the highest end guitars and other musical instruments. The dwindling supply has triggered a black market, sending a wave of poachers deep into the last great forest of America. But Jefferson County Deputy Adam Newman and his fellow deputies are determined to put a stop to the forest destruction and the criminal activity fueling it. In addition to protecting the vast wilderness across the peninsula, deputies like Detective Jeff Rhoades from Mason County are presented with the challenge of finding missing persons in the vast expanse of the forest. Despite the harsh terrain, searching for answers is a battle that local law enforcement never stop fighting.

Tonight is the series premiere of Ladylike on MTV at 11/10c. Ladylike takes the attitude and subject matter of Girl Code and steps out of the studio and onto the street. Lead by Girl Code alum Nicole Byer, the Ladylike team pokes holes in traditional ideas of “ladylike” behavior by pranking the unsuspecting public. The show will also feature the talents of Megan Gailey, Jade Catta-Preta, Blair Socci, Shannon Coffey, Anna-Lee Wright, and Matteo Lane. Through a sharp, comedic lens, the show upends gendered stereotypes and disrupts sexist ideas around issues like reproductive rights and gender norms. Pranks like “Save our Sperm” challenges men to engage their own bodies in the struggle for reproductive rights, while “Toys for Boys” asks a focus group to consider some very special dolls made just for boys, and “Junk Male” flips the male-gaze with hilarious results.

I found this website way too late in my life.
Now I don’t have to check each network’s site to know when the shows I watch air.
    Thanks!
