Tonight is the series premiere of Knocked Up on Lifetime at 10/9c. The show chronicles the journeys of three women who are having the time of their lives as their careers are just about to take off. Living carefree and enjoying being single ladies, the lives of Akiitha, Katie and Audra are turned upside down when they discover they are pregnant after one night of fun. As they prepare for their special deliveries, they must all make major life decisions as they deal with their surprise pregnancies and get ready for life’s greatest adventure, motherhood. Totally unprepared for babies at this time in their lives, all three need to re-think their living situations, relocate, cope with the father’s involvement (or lack thereof), all the while dealing with their ever changing bodies and intense emotional ups-and-downs of being pregnant. After 10 years of wild partying, 32 year-old Audra had cleaned up her act, finding sobriety and the church. But after a night spent with an old friend results in an unexpected pregnancy, her world is about to change again. Despite her mom’s disapproval and the father’s refusal to be involved, Audra decides to raise the baby on her own. Meanwhile, Katie, who has always had relationships with women, unexpectedly gets pregnant after a one-night stand with a man, only to then meet Angela, the woman of her dreams. Katie struggles to balance the challenges of a new relationship with first-time parenting. The show also features Akiitha, a social worker from New Orleans, Louisiana who made an instant connection while out on Bourbon Street, only later discovers there’s a baby on the way.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Battle of the Ex-Besties on Oxygen at 11/10c. The series follows fourteen former BFFs who are forced to confront — and hopefully forget — past differences in order to win a life-changing $100,000 grand prize. Will these frenemies give their relationship a fighting chance, or part ways once and for all? As fourteen contestants look to dominate the battle, nothing can prepare them for the moment they discover that they’ve each been paired with an ex-best friend. This tumultuous competition series puts them under the same roof and ultimately pushes them to revisit a shared history that will either help or hurt them in overcoming a series of daunting challenges. Should a team lose a challenge, they will have the option to compete for $50,000, or leave the competition for good. Two consecutive losses result in elimination. With betrayals, lies and past accusations looming, they alone will determine the price of friendship.

Finally, tonight is the complete first season premiere of Shut Eye on Hulu at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. Charlie Haverford (Jeffrey Donovan) is a scammer with a small chain of fortune-telling storefronts and contracts building tricks for a family that controls the business in the greater chunk of Los Angeles. A blow to the head from a client’s angry boyfriend intersects with a hypnosis session while auditioning a new “clairvoyant,” and suddenly, a man whose entire life has been based on fraud begins to see and feel some very real and fundamental truths. Charlie’s wife Linda (KaDee Strickland) is sick and tired of their mediocre life and wants to break away from Fonso (Angus Sampson), the single father who runs the Marks family’s psychic empire and controls the Haverford’s future. Isabella Rossellini co-stars as Rita, the cunning, seductive and sadistic matriarch of the Marks clan. The show also stars David Zayas, Emmanuelle Chriqui, & Susan Misner.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Selection: Special Operations Experiment on History Channel at 10/9c. The series places 30 men and women with no military background through an immersive, authentic experience led by veterans of the Navy SEALs, Green Berets and Army Rangers, while offering insight into the origins of these physical and mental challenges. Special Operations units around the globe devise extreme training and assessment exercises in order to find the best of the best. Instructors employ tests such as tear gas, interrogation stimulation and psychological warfare, driving participants to push themselves to the limits of the human body and mind. It will be the ultimate test of self-discovery, physical strength, and mental limitation. This is not a competition series — no cash rewards — only a test against oneself to see if the mind has the will and strength to push the body to complete the challenges.

Tonight is also the complete first season premiere of Captive on Netflix at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. From the highest profile cases to those kept hidden from the public, comes a new docu-series from acclaimed executive producer Doug Liman and producers Simon and Jonathan Chinn. The producers have gained privileged access to the most challenging negotiations of our time — revealing how hostage-taking, and the efforts to resolve it, have evolved to address an escalating international trend. The episodes look at a wide range of situations from the viewpoint of everyone involved: the victims and their families back home, the experienced negotiators, business leaders, government officials and the kidnappers themselves.

Finally, tonight is also the complete first season premiere of White Rabbit Project on Netflix at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. Kari Byron, Tory Belleci and Grant Imahara head down the rabbit hole to investigate weird and wonderful events from pop culture, science and history. Under their microscope are topics as diverse as jailbreaks, superpower technology, heists and crazy world war two weapons. In each episode the hosts immerse themselves in experiments, builds and tests as they sleuth the truth behind these and other well googled themes.
