Sometimes, there are no words for how much sheer joy television brings us viewers. Fans of Gilmore Girls were certainly that happy when they learned the show was returning. For me? I’m not sure I’ve ever been as happy as I was when I learned they were bringing Prison Break back from the dead, even if it is just a short 9-episode season! I was SO SAD when the series ended after only four seasons, especially with how they left the group from Fox River… Michael was killed, and Sara was pregnant… I mean, come on!

Wait. Michael’s dead? Maybe, maybe not. 😉 I mean, it wouldn’t be Prison Break without Michael Scofield, right? I love that all our favorite characters are back: Michael, Lincoln, Sara, Sucre, T-Bag, C-Note, Paul Kellerman… I really am on the edge of my seat, hoping things will work out with Michael and Sara, since Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) is also on the show as Sara’s HUSBAND! What the what??

Kyle got to talk to some of the cast in the press room at SDCC this past summer. Check it out here on NoReruns.net

On tonight’s episode, “Ogygia,” it’s been seven years since Michael was presumed dead, but when clues suggest that he might still be alive, his brother Lincoln reunites with Sara to help track down the truth. The path leads Lincoln to Yemen, as Sucre, T-Bag, and C-Note are pulled back into the action to engineer the series’ biggest escape ever.

See what clues lead Lincoln to believe Michael’s alive tonight on FOX at 9:01/8:01c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Chopped Junior, NCIS, American Housewife, Trial & Error, Imaginary Mary, Chicago Fire, Chopped, & NCIS: New Orleans.

Tonight, after what seems like an eternity, iZombie finally returns to The CW to kick off its third season. In last year’s season finale, Vaughn was hosting a Super Max release party at Max Rager, with guest performer Rob Thomas. Liv, Detective Babineaux, and Major crashed the party in hopes of rescuing Drake and the others who were locked up in the basement, being used as guinea pigs for Vaughn’s experiments to cure his daughter. But things quickly got out of hand, and the trio found themselves trapped and surrounded by raging zombies. Just when all hope was lost, Vivian Stoll, the new owner of Max Rager, showed up and mowed down the undead. Afterwards, the group made it to the basement, where they discovered that Drake had become a Romero, and Liv was forced to kill him in order to save Babineau. Later, Major trapped Vaughn in an elevator full of zombies, where he was eaten alive by his own daughter. And Liv had a run-in with Vivian Stoll as she was feasting on a dead Rob Thomas. She told Liv there was a battle brewing and asked which side she was on.

I’m looking forward to finally getting some new episodes of this series. The writers always do a great job of giving us fun stories of the week while also exploring a deeper season-long arc. It looks like there will be another interesting underlying story this season – can the zombies continue to hide their existence as their numbers grow and big events like the Max Rager carnage put them into the spotlight? Does Vivian have some kind of plan toward world domination? And is there still any kind of hope for a cure? But while worrying about all of this, our group still needs to get on with their daily “lives.” Now that Major’s involvement in the Chaos Killer crimes is out in the open, how will the other zombies react? What kind of new cases and personalities will Liv take on as she tries to solve crimes in her day job? I can’t wait for tonight’s premiere!

On tonight’s episode, “Heaven Just Got a Little Bit Smoother,” Liv discovers there are more zombies living in Seattle than she previously believed and that a private military contractor is employing a small zombie army that is preparing for the day humans learn of their existence. Meanwhile, even though Major was exonerated for the crimes of the Chaos Killer, he is still considered a pariah. He manages to land a job with the only place that will hire him; and Blaine is accused of lying.

Find out where Major get hired tonight on The CW 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Middle, American Housewife, Fresh Off the Boat, Imaginary Mary, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Trial & Error, New Girl, The Mick, Prison Break, DC’s Legends of Tomorrow, Imposters, Detroiters, Switched at Birth, The Americans, Cosplay Melee, The Detour, and Chrisley Knows Best.

I love how close the team on NCIS: New Orleans is. Their bond is what helped them through the trauma during last week’s episode. There was a deadly accident at a naval base that exposed a secret project that ended up unleashing a lethal virus on the whole base – as well as infected Wade. Sebastian proved his love for her and his loyalty to the team when he was willing to push new boundaries to find the antidote to the virus. In the end, Wade was saved and the virus was contained.

Also on last week’s episode, Pride continued to butt heads with the mayor as he pushes to prove the mayor is responsible for a slew of illegal activity. I honestly can’t wait until they lock the mayor up and move on to a new story arc, because the mayor is incredibly ignorant and annoying.

On tonight’s episode, “NOLA Confidential,” after the NCIS team uncovers a link between an international drug ring and the New Orleans Police Department, Lasalle must investigate his former partner in the Vice unit. Also, Pride worries about Rita’s safety as she looks into a connection between the mayor and illegal activity in Clearwater.

To find out if Pride can move closer to locking this fool up for good, tune in to CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching The Voice, Bull, Prison Break, Chopped, Chopped Junior, Trial & Error, and Imaginary Mary.
