Tonight is the series premiere of Gear Dogs on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Car fanatic Nate Boyer will build and customize anything that moves. As the owner of Kultured Customs, a thriving hot rod and car resto-mod shop, Nate is always looking for the next big project to reap huge profits. Now, he is taking his biggest gamble yet and opening “The Doghouse” — a community garage that’s open to hobbyists and auto mechanics (aka “Dogs”) looking to test their build skills. Nate rigorously vets promising candidates that will use his space, equipment, and brains in exchange for a cut of their final flip.

Tonight is the complete first season premiere of Fire Chasers on Netflix at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. From the vast visual ferocity, to the earnest and emotional personal stories hidden behind the smoke, the show takes viewers into the heart of California’s devastating recent wildfires alongside the brave men and women of Cal Fire and the Los Angeles County Fire Department. Their mission is to battle the flames that erupt during fire season, threatening wildlife, natural terrain, and tens of thousands of homeowners. Climate change, altered vegetation patterns, and an increase in fire-prone landscapes have multiplied those crises — forcing firefighters across the state to confront epic disasters that cost lives, millions of dollars in damage, and a massive scarring of the Earth. Alongside the stories of the Cal Fire and LA County Fire teams are those of new recruits training to join their brothers in the blaze; the women who’ve chosen to train at “Fire Camp” while serving time at the California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation in Corona; and California artists Jeff Frost and Andrea Dale, who document the apocalyptic-looking damage in photos and artifact retrieval. Fire Chasers is a gripping, dramatic look at the vigilance and valor that come with trying to stop nature’s most unstoppable force.
 
Tonight is also the complete first season premiere of Greenhouse Academy on Netflix at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. This is a live action, suspenseful drama series set in an elite boarding school in Southern California called “The Greenhouse.” Students are divided into two rival houses that must join forces to conquer challenges when an evil plot is uncovered. When teen siblings Hayley and Alex enter an elite boarding school, they find rivalry, romance and a mystery related to the recent loss of their mom. The show stars Ariel Mortman, Finn Roberts, & Chris O’Neal.

Tonight is the series premiere of Broke and Famous on Reelz at 8/7c. Whether it’s blockbuster movies, a wealthy family, or chart-topping hit music when the money is rolling and you’re a celebrity life is good. But what happens at the intersection of money mismanagement and career crisis? Each hour-long episode shows what happens when a celebrity’s life of spending and excess turns to one of selling off assets, pinching pennies and taking jobs they never considered at the height of success. Tonight is also the series premiere of Third Rail with Ozy on PBS at 8:30/7:30c. Hosted by Carlos Watson, the show promises to present new voices and valuable dialogue for the digital age. Each week’s half-hour show explores a single, provocative question debated by expert and celebrity guests in front of a live studio audience. Guests this season include restauranteur and Viceland contributor Eddie Huang, author and Wharton professor Adam Grant, businessman Mark Cuban, political advocate Grover Norquist, acclaimed journalist Gretchen Carlson, writer and Purdue assistant professor Roxane Gay, humorist and TV correspondent Mo Rocca, and more.
 
Tonight is also the series premiere of US Weekly’s Famous Feuds on Reelz at 9/8c. It could be the egos involved, outright jealousy or rampant hearsay but whatever the case when celebrities bicker and fight the public is fascinated. Each hour-long episode spotlights the epic discords between warring TV personalities, clashing divas and superstar friends whose relationships turned ugly. Saturday is the series premiere of Con Man on Syfy at 10/9c. The show will air all six episodes of season one back-to-back, with the final episode beginning at 1:30AM/12:30AMc. The short form, critically acclaimed, geektastic web series follows the journey of Wray Nerely (Alan Tudyk), a washed-up, former sci-fi celebrity who revisits his glory days on the convention circuit. The series is executive produced by Tudyk, PJ Haarsma, and Nathan Fillion, who also co-stars. The star-studded first season also features Seth Green, Felicia Day, Sean Astin, James Gunn, Tricia Helfer and many more.

Tonight is also the season premiere of Copycat Killers on Reelz at 10/9c.
