Tonight is the series premiere of Our Cartoon President on Showtime at 8/7c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 8:30/7:30c. This new 10-episode parody will follow the tru-ish misadventures of the 45th President of the United States, Donald J. Trump, and his merry band of advisors and family members. In this parallel cartoon universe, the Commander-in-Chief opens the White House doors for an “all access” look at a typical day in the life of the President of the United States. The show examines the quintessentially Trumpian details of the presidency and his most important relationships, and no one is safe – from his close family and confidants to key political figures from both parties and members of the media.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Here and Now on HBO at 9/8c. From Alan Ball, and starring Tim Robbins and Holly Hunter, the show is a provocative and darkly comic meditation on the disparate forces polarizing present-day American culture, as experienced by the members of a progressive multi-ethnic family — a philosophy professor and his wife, their adopted children from Vietnam, Liberia and Colombia, and their sole biological child — and a contemporary Muslim family, headed by a psychiatrist who is treating one of their children. Jerrika Hinton, Daniel Zovatto, Raymond Lee, Sosie Bacon, Andy Bean, Joe Williamson and Peter Macdissi also star.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Price of Fame on Reelz at 9/8c. See the heartfelt stories of Shania Twain, Johnny Depp, Carrie Fisher, Patrick Swayze, Prince and Robin Williams. Whether it’s turbulent family drama, harrowing substance abuse, outlandish spending habits or a combination of those and more, these celebrities all paid a hefty price for their fame. Giving viewers an intimate perspective on each story are personal accounts from the celebrity’s family members and friends in addition to entertainment journalists who covered the rise, fall and sometimes rise again of the stars.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Private Eyes on ION at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. This investigative drama series features two strong and forever competing characters. Ex-pro hockey player Matt Shade (Jason Priestley) irrevocably changes his life when he decides to team up with fierce P.I. Angie Everett (Cindy Sampson) to form an unlikely investigative powerhouse. Angie may find Shade naïve in the way that he sees the world, but his passion and heart brings something special to her one-woman business. Shade sees working with Angie as an opportunity to redeem himself, yet he’s partnering with a woman who fundamentally believes that people don’t change. If he’s the unstoppable force, she’s the immovable object. They’ll challenge each other on every level.
