Tonight is the series premiere of Living Biblically on CBS at 9:30/8:30c. The show stars Jay R. Ferguson as Chip Curry, a modern-day man at a crossroads in his life who decides to live strictly in accordance with the Bible. As he begins his sincere spiritual journey toward a more moral life with the help of his wife and friends, Chip wonders if he’ll be able to take a page — or every page — out of the Good Book, and if the effect will be of Biblical proportions. Lindsey Kraft, Ian Gomez, David Krumholtz, Tony Rock and Camryn Manheim also star.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Good Girls on NBC at 10/9c. When three suburban moms get tired of trying to make ends meet, they decide it’s time to stick up for themselves by robbing the local supermarket at (toy) gunpoint. But when the manager catches a glimpse of one of them and the loot is far more than they expected, it doesn’t take long for the three best friends to realize the perfect getaway will be harder than they think. From executive producer Jenna Bans (Scandal) comes this comedy-infused drama that mixes a little Thelma & Louise with a bit of Breaking Bad. The cast includes Retta, Mae Whitman, Reno Wilson, Manny Montana, Lidya Jewett, Izzy Stannard, and Matthew Lillard.

Tonight is also the series premiere of McMafia on AMC at 10/9c. AMC’s groundbreaking new international thriller McMafia is an eight-part series created by Hossein Amini (The Snowman, Our Kind of Traitor) and James Watkins (Black Mirror, The Take) and inspired by Misha Glenny’s best-selling book of the same name. The series charts Alex Godman’s (James Norton) journey as he is drawn deeper and deeper into the world of organized crime. As the English-raised son of Russian exiles with a mafia history, Alex has spent his life trying to escape the shadow of that criminal past, building his own legitimate business and forging a life with his girlfriend Rebecca (Juliet Rylance). But when his family’s past returns to threaten them, Alex is forced to confront his values to protect those he loves. What starts out as a story of survival and revenge becomes an epic tale of a man’s struggle against the lures of corruption in the modern world and in himself. Impressive and intimate, glamorous and gritty, McMafia is both global in scale and forensic in detail. It also stars Aleksey Serebryakov, David Strathairn, Faye Marsay, & Maria Shukshina.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Shoot the Messenger on WGN at 10/9c. Centering on the complex relationships between crime reporters and the police, the show follows Daisy Channing (Elyse Levesque), a young reporter trying to balance a messy personal life with a burgeoning career. Things begin to go sideways for Daisy when she witnesses a murder she thinks is gang related, only to find herself slowly drawn into an interconnected web of criminal and illicit sexual activity that reaches into the corridors of corporate and political power. It’s the kind of news story that will destroy lives, including those of her own family. With help from her editor Mary Foster (Alex Kingston), co-worker Simon Olenski (Lucas Bryant), and lead homicide detective Kevin Lutz (Lyriq Bent), Daisy uncovers a cover-up so scandalous it could bring down the government.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Final Space on TBS at 10:30/9:30c. This is an epic animated sci-fi comedy about a spaceman named Gary who is working off a prison sentence and makes a mysterious new alien friend Mooncake who he immediately bonds with. But what Gary doesn’t know is that his adorable new sidekick is actually wanted by the sinister Lord Commander who will stop at nothing to use Mooncake’s untapped powers for evil.

For the 16-part season, fan-favorite competitors from the primetime American Ninja Warrior franchise will form 36 teams, each with two men and one woman, all competing to become the ultimate champions. Saturday

Saturday is the series premiere of Hear Me, Love Me, See Me on TLC at 10/9c. Is love really blind? For three women, it’s time to put the age-old theory to the test. Hosted by actress Christine Lakin (Step by Step & Hollywood Darlings), the show takes physical attraction completely out of the equation and encourages those looking for love to focus on getting to know potential suitors before they see what they look like. Over the course of just one day, an eligible bachelorette will meet three bachelors, using only POV cameras strapped to the men’s chests. She’ll get to see everything they see and talk directly to them — but neither will see what the other person looks like. Each of the three potential matches will plan special “dates” that highlight their individuality and give the lucky lady a chance to date their life — from introducing her to their parents to taking her to work, these guys will work overtime to prove that they are the one she should pick. At the end of the day, the woman must decide who has won her heart based solely on lifestyle, personality, and their emotional chemistry. After making her final decision, she will meet all three men face-to-face, and only then is it revealed to her which man she chose. The new couple will go on a date and determine if they truly do connect.

It’s also the season premiere of The Good Fight on CBSAA at 3:01AM/2:01AMc & the 2-hour premiere of Top Gear on BBC America at 10:30/9:30c, as well as the 90-minute season finale of Planet Earth: Blue Planet II on BBC America at 9/8c.
