Tonight is the series premiere of God Friended Me on CBS at 8:30/7:30c. The show stars Brandon Micheal Hall in a humorous, uplifting drama about Miles Finer (Hall), an outspoken atheist whose life is turned upside down when he receives a friend request on social media from God and unwittingly becomes an agent of change in the lives and destinies of others around him. After repeated pokes by God, Miles’s curiosity takes over, and he accepts the ultimate friend request and follows the signs to Cara Bloom (Violett Beane), an online journalist. Brought together by the “God Account,” the two find themselves investigating God’s friend suggestions and inadvertently helping others in need. Miles is set on getting to the bottom of what he believes is an elaborate hoax, but in the meantime he’ll play along and, in the process, change his life forever.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Most Terrifying Places in America on Travel Channel at 11/10c. Be afraid. Be very afraid. Evil lurks in every corner of the country. Most Terrifying Places in America takes you on a treacherous trip across the nation’s most horrifying haunts. Take a ride on the dire side as we uncover the most bone-chilling manors and inns and visit real life ghost towns so cursed shivers will run down your spine. Join us as we stop at the nation’s scariest attractions, which will leave you feeling like a wide-eyed, freaked-out kid again, and come along as we unearth the most frightening forests, forts and freeways. #MostTerrifyingPlaces

Finally, tonight is the complete first (& only) season premiere of Us & Them on Sony Crackle at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. When two people finally come together, they never come together alone. Us & Them is an outrageous but authentic ensemble single-camera comedy about a pair of young lovers, whose path to happily-ever-after is complicated by the screwed-up circus of people closest to them. New York pharmaceutical copywriter Gavin (Jason Ritter, Parenthood, The Event) is a neurotic Woody Allen-ish personality with indie-rock looks, who has never been in love. On the other hand, pretty Pennsylvania-based printing press employee Stacey (Alexis Bledel, Mad Men, Gilmore Girls) has a subtle wit and has been engaged before. For the past six months, they have been flirting online and finally agree to meet…with their best friends in tow for double-date safety. Gavin and Stacey’s wingmen are, respectively, Chris “Archie” Archuletta (Dustin Ybarra, We Bought a Zoo) and Nessa (Ashlie Atkinson, Inside Man, Rescue Me). Archie is often wrong but never in doubt and the loudest, most outrageous character in any room. Nessa is brutally blunt — actually, just brutal, in general — with a rock-a-billy look, complete with messy tattoos (many of which she doesn’t remember getting). Gavin lives in an apartment below his parents, Pam (Jane Kaczmarek, Whitney, Raising the Bar, Malcolm in the Middle) and Michael (Kurt Fuller, Psych, Midnight in Paris). With zero filter and little volume control, Pam is fearful she is aging and that the good times may be behind her. Michael thinks of himself as the family’s voice of reason. He is wrong. Dillsburg, PA, is a tiny dot of grit in the green countryside. Stacey lives there with her widowed mom, Gwen (Kerri Kenney, Reno 911!). Brian (guest star Michael Ian Black, Ed), Stacey’s uncle, and her late father’s brother, has taken on the role of family protector. He is a simple man who is amazed by the little things in life…like white Toblerones. Stacey’s long-distance romance unnerves both Gwen and Brian, who fear she might fall in love and move away to the big city. When all of these characters collide to create a salty but sweet romantic comedy, we wonder not if the two leads will get together, but how they ever will stay together. After all, it’s complicated enough trying to make a relationship work. But the biggest complications of all are the friends and family who are part of the package deal. This show was originally produced by FOX but never aired.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Neighborhood on CBS at 8/7c. The show stars Cedric the Entertainer as an opinionated neighbor in a comedy about what happens when the friendliest guy in the Midwest moves his family to a neighborhood in Los Angeles where not everyone looks like him or appreciates his extreme neighborliness. When Dave Johnson (Max Greenfield, New Girl) and his family arrive from Michigan, they’re unfazed that their new dream home is located in a community quite different from their small town. However, their opinionated next-door neighbor, Calvin Butler (Cedric the Entertainer), is wary of the newcomers, certain that they’ll disrupt the culture on the block. Dave realizes that fitting into their new community is more complex than he expected, but if he can find a way to connect with Calvin, they have an excellent chance of making their new neighborhood their home. Also starring are Beth Behrs (2 Broke Girls), Tichina Arnold (Happily Divorced, Everybody Hates Chris), Hank Greenspan, Marcel Spears (The Mayor, & Sheaun McKinney (Vice Principals).

Following that is the series premiere of Happy Together on CBS at 8:30/7:30c. The show stars Damon Wayans Jr. (New Girl) and Amber Stevens West (Ghosted, The Carmichael Show) in a comedy about a 30-something happily married couple who begin to reconnect with their younger, cooler selves when Cooper, an exuberant young pop star drawn to their super-ordinary suburban life, unexpectedly moves in with them. It also stars Chris Parnell (Archer, grown-ish, Suburgatory), Stephnie Weir, & Victor Williams (The King of Queens).

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Brake Room on Discovery Channel at 11/10c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 11:30/10:30c. Start your engines motor enthusiasts, because we’re putting the pedal to the metal in Discovery Channel’s all-new motor game show Brake Room, in which celebrity contestants try to predict what happens in the craziest viral videos from the motor world. Comedian and unapologetic Boston sports nut Nick Stevens hosts the series and pits gearheads against each other to test their motor knowledge in the hopes of winning the alluring ‘mystery box’. From four-wheel fails to two-wheel triumphs, this series brings the fun, excitement and downright ridiculousness you won’t want to miss. This season is jam-packed with celebs and motorheads alike, including Discovery favorites like master car builder Jesse James, Deadliest Catch’s Sean Dwyer, Moonshiners’ Tim Smith and Josh Owens, as well as extreme stuntman “Wee Man” of the popular Jackass franchise. In each episode, two of these car fanatics will go head-to-head in a number of challenges where they use their background, judgement and motor knowledge to help them answer questions about viral clips of outrageous auto accidents, blunders and mishaps. It’s a race to the end to see which of these motorheads has enough knowledge to become a Brake Room champ.

Tonight is the series premiere of Trans Am on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. In 1977, the country watched the Trans Am race across the silver screen and a new generation of car lovers was born. For years, American muscle cars ruled the road, but that time came to an end… but the story doesn’t end there. Entrepreneurial brothers Scott and Tod Warmack risked everything they had to acquire the exclusive rights to the Trans Am brand to pioneer a new-era of the American muscle car. Together, the Warmack brothers embark on a forward-looking journey, fueled by nostalgia, to restore and recreate an American staple while forging a reputation in the competitive automotive industry. For decades, no other muscle car ruled the roads like the Trans Am. So when the automotive icon fell into oblivion, car savants Scott and Tod Warmack risked everything to acquire the rights in an attempt to resurrect the legendary brand from extinction. Now, builder Scott and businessman Tod are giving the greenlight to the Trans Am legacy by restoring old muscle cars and building new ones to breathe life back into American muscle and put the beloved car back on the pavement. Operating out of production-facilities Trans Am Depot and Trans Am Worldwide, the brothers and their team of talented car savants re-engineer and meticulously craft classic icons from the inside out. The team will uncover existing bodies and build new ones to house some of the baddest engines and equipment to satisfy auto-aficionados across the country. The Warmack vision is larger than life and there are few boundaries that can’t be pushed, but can a few guys from the panhandle of Florida pull off the restoration of a lifetime?

The diverse lineup of breakout talent offers insights into the motivations behind baring one’s soul for a living. Their dynamic, personal, and hilarious performances — where nothing is off limits — will show us exactly how, in their own inimitable way, each comedian turns life into art.
