If you’re a fan of shows like American Idol or The Voice and like country music, then you might want to check out Real Country on USA Network tonight. In each hour-long episode, country stars Shania Twain, Jake Owen, and Travis Tritt will hand-select emerging solo artists, duos, and groups to perform in showcases that spotlight the rich traditions, songs, and themes of country music. The best artists from each showcase will perform in a two-hour grand finale, for the chance to be named one of country music’s next breakout acts. In each episode, there will be a guest star, including Trace Adkins, Wynonna Judd, & more, and it’s hosted by Graham Bunn, from Southern California’s radio station Go Country 105.

On tonight’s episode, “Drink Up and Party Down,” a panel of music icons and celebrity guests search for country music’s next breakout musical acts. Joined by special guests, Big & Rich.

See if this new show’s for you tonight on USA Network at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Conners, NCIS, The Kids Are Alright, Chopped, FBI, Lethal Weapon, The Little Couple, NCIS: New Orleans, The Rookie, & The Guest Book.

Sometimes I wonder why I put myself through the emotional rollercoaster of the dramas I watch… Then I remember it’s because I love a good cry that’s combined with a few laughs. One of these shows is New Amsterdam, and last week it had me riding the waves of emotions constantly. Max’s wife is off of bedrest now for her pregnancy, and they are working on their marriage, which led to Max finally tell her the truth about his cancer. I am so sad for them, and I hope he beats this cancer so he can be there for his daughter.
If he’s going to beat it, he needs to slow down a bit at work, which I doubt will ever happen.

On tonight’s episode, “Domino Effect,” with a big domino transplant procedure on the line, Max must decide if he can be present in the hospital while also dealing with his illness. Meanwhile, a bond with a patient makes Bloom consider her personal life, and Iggy makes progress on a long-standing case.

To see if Max can learn to balance work and treatment, tune in to NBC at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching NCIS: New Orleans, NCIS, The Voice, The Flash, The Gifted, The Kids Are Alright, The Conners, FBI, This Is Us, and The Rookie.
