Tonight is the series premiere of Killer Motive on Oxygen at 7/6c. From the producers of NBC’s Dateline and hosted by two award-winning journalists, NBC News correspondent Stephanie Gosk and Emmy Award winner Troy Roberts, each hour-long episode will uncover dark and twisted motives, from vengeance to jealousy to greed that led to gruesome killings.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Power Confidential on Starz at 9/8c. This is the exclusive companion piece to the ultimate season of Power. The after-show will air immediately following the premiere of each new episode of Power. It will highlight the most memorable and jaw-dropping moments from that week’s episode, provide exclusive behind-the-scenes insights, and give viewers a taste of what’s to come. The cast and creators of Power will be joined by celebrity fans and surprise guests.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of On Becoming a God in Central Florida on Showtime at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:45/9:45c. Set in a small Orlando-adjacent town in 1992, the series is a story about the cult of free enterprise and one women’s relentless pursuit of the American Dream. The show follows Krystal Stubbs (Kirsten Dunst), a minimum-wage water park employee who lies, schemes, and cons her way up the ranks of Founders American Merchandise (FAM) — the cultish, flag-waving, multibillion-dollar pyramid scheme that drove her to ruin in the first place, run by the powerful Obie Garbeau II (Ted Levine). Determined to make a better life for herself, Krystal dives deep into FAM and develops a tangled relationship with FAM’s most loyal and fanatical follower Cody (Théodore Pellerin), until her business begins to affect those closest to her, including Ernie (Mel Rodriguez), her affable water-park boss, and his FAM-skeptic wife Bets (Beth Ditto). It also stars Alexander Skarsgard, Da’Vine Joy Randolph, John Earl Jelks, Josh Fadem, Julie Benz, Mary Steenburgen, Melissa de Sousa, Sharon Lawrence, & Usman Ally.

The series follows every twist around the crime, the mishandled investigation, the legal case as well as the underlying economic inequality inherent in the story. The show features interviews with the journalists who chased the story, authorities, friends and neighbors of “Pazuzu” as well as people close to the victims to try to understand the twisted depths of this story from every angle.
