Tonight is the series premiere of Comic Book Men on AMC at 10/9c. The series dives deep into fanboy culture by following the antics in and around master fanboy Kevin Smith’s New Jersey comic shop, Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, where both staff and customers geek out over mind-blowing pop culture artifacts and the legends behind them.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Full Metal Jousting on History Channel at 10/9c. HISTORY is bringing back the most dangerous collision sport in history and transforming it into a 21st-century event. But this is no Renaissance fair as the toughest riders in the nation face off in a bone-crushing competition for big money. It’s as intense as it was 500 years ago, but with a twist: Traditional armor is replaced by modern suits of steel, while action is captured by high-speed cameras. Each episode features full-contact jousts in which jousters charge and collide at 30 miles an hour, and every joust is a test of courage and strength requiring nerves of steel. The last man standing takes home the cash as this extreme sport is reborn.

The show has the same hit format as the American version, following high-level corporate executives as they slip anonymously into the rank and file of their own companies. Each week, a different executive will leave the comfort oftheir corner office for an undercover mission to examine the inner workings of their corporation. While working alongside their employees, they willlearn about themselves, the effects their decisions have on others, where the problems lie within their organization, the perception of their company, and discover the unsung heroes of their work force. One episode each week will be in the UK, while the other will be centered in Australia.

Each journey/challenge lasts three days and contestants must face unusual cargo, massive rigs, lethal roads and each other. Along the way, the weak will be eliminated for slow times and penalties.
