Midway through the week. Yay! For some reason, the week is kind of dragging by, although my favorite book series ever had a new release at midnight on Tuesday morning, so I spent 4 hours that I should have been sleeping gobbling up every word. LOL Anyway, there’s some great TV on tonight, so read on to see what we recommend. :)
Last week’s premiere of Psych was terrific. It picked up right after the end of the finale last season, with Shawn rushing up to his dad right after Henry had been shot by his old police cronie. Once Henry was out of surgery, Shawn decided he was going to go his dad’s shooter…and he did…in classic Shawn-style. I LOVED Lassie helping him toward the end, and then Juliet rushing in to save Shawn from being killed. But I gotta say, he was pretty hot, being all angry and throwing the shooter’s stuff around, sneaking in and setting off the bullets and getting to the guy… And Woody rushing
One question I have… My husband & I disagreed about something, and I want to see who’s right and who’s wrong. LOL I didn’t think anyone knew yet that Shawn & Juliet are dating, but he said it’s kind of an open secret now. I just honestly can’t remember since it’s been almost a year since the last season finale. But the way Lassie was looking at the two of them a couple of times made me think he was just now noticing something between them. Anyone know?
On tonight’s episode, “Juliet Takes a Luvvah,” Gus gets a girlfriend, and Juliet goes undercover on an online dating site to catch a killer while Shawn tries to holster his jealousy! Cybill Shepherd, Sage Brocklebank, Parminder Nagra (ER) and Ethan Sandler guest star.
To see if Guy & Juliet find love (real or fake. ;) ), tune in to USA Network at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Psych @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Neighbors, The Americans, & Duck Dynasty.
Jump with us to see else we think you should watch.
I don’t care who judges me because I am in love with Duck Dynasty. These aren’t your usual rednecks… They are actually quite intelligent, as well as the boys are like a camouflage-wearing remake of Jackass, with all the crazy stunts they pull. Watching them hunt the rascally beavers or compete to see who can eat more donuts is always amusing. The other thing I love about this show is how close of a family they are—with all the extended family getting together on a regular basis and being supportive of each other. It really is a show worth your time (despite some other’s opinions), and I guarantee you won’t regret it if you tune in for an episode.
Tonight, we’re lucky enough to get TWO new episodes, so first up, on “Shot Thru the Heart,” when John Luke goes through his first breakup, the guys take him hunting and give him relationship advice; Phil and Kay seek the services of a pet photographer from the city.
On the second episode, “Here Lizard, Lizard,” expert tracker Phil is called in when the warehouse guys lose their pet lizard; Willie and Si ride along with members of the West Monroe Police Department.
You won’t be sorry if you give in to the duck call and tune in to A&E starting at 10/9c. Learn where to find episodes online of Duck Dynasty @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching The Americans, Psych, American Idol, and Haunted Collectors.
Survivor is driving me nuts this season—why are these tribes not voting out their annoying members?! Last week, the fans lost the immunity challenge again and had to vote someone out. The vote resulted in a three-way tie between Shamar, Hope, and Eddie. (Has that ever happened before on Survivor?) Upon the re-vote, it was Hope who was sent home.
How is Shamar still there? He does absolutely nothing at camp, puts people on his “no talking” list, and piratically quit the game last week! I really hope tonight sees the exit of Shamar if the fans lose, or the certifiably insane Phillip if the “favorites” lose.
On tonight’s episode, “Kill or Be Killed,” a medical emergency threatens to end one castaway’s ability to continue in the game.
To see who goes home tonight, tune in to CBS at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Survivor @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Neighbors, Suburgatory, Whitney, The Americans, Southland, Psych, Workaholics, and Kroll Show.
I love Whitney. It’s exactly my sense of humor, and I love how the cast is also allowed to laugh when a joke is good. Especially any scene with just Whitney and Alex teasing each other at home usually make me laugh out loud.
On tonight’s episode, “Lost in Translation,” Whitney is excited to reconnect with her half-sister, but when the reason behind her visit is revealed, Whitney realizes she has to support a life-changing decision while Alex and Mark try to cheer up a newly dumped and depressed RJ.
Find out what the decision is on NBC at 8/7c. Learn where to find episodes online of Whitney @ TV.com.
I’ll also be watching American Idol and Suburgatory.
