With the extreme social experiment over and their decisions revealed, can the two remaining couples make it and celebrate their first anniversary as husband and wife? This show follows the two couples who remain married, Jamie and Doug; and Cortney and Jason. Viewers will see Jamie and Doug, and Cortney and Jason, continue their journeys from the six month mark of marriage to their March 2015 one year anniversary. From the holidays to birthdays to moving into new homes – viewers will see the two couples mark many “firsts” together, as well as receive advice and guidance from season one’s trusted specialists, including – sexologist, Dr. Logan Levkoff; psychologist, Dr. Joseph Cilona; and sociologist, Dr. Pepper Schwartz. The series will also check in with the couple that chose not to stay together – Monet and Vaughn.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Big Giant Swords on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. When it comes to gigantic swords, no one makes them bigger and badder than Irishman Michael Craughwell. Irish Mike is putting it all on the line to make his passion his profession by attempting to make a living designing and building these larger-than-life works of art. Joined by his trusty sidekick AmeriMike and a motley crew of artists and builders, this master of steel will attempt to bring to life the stuff of fairytales and legends. Will it be a soaring tale of triumph… or a bitter saga of defeat? A YouTube sensation, garnering hundreds of thousands of views per video, Irish Mike has been designing life-sized replicas of weapons inspired by video games and 80s fantasy sci-fi movies. He was launched into the spotlight after he was commissioned to make a life-sized, ornamental replica of a sword from Final Fantasy 7, and well, the rest is history. From solely making replica swords, Mike’s business now focuses on his own original designs. At around $2,000 a pop and some swords weighing up to 80 pounds and coming in at 6 feet long, Irish Mike is used to taking his time to create these functional, metal masterpieces. But in order to make his passion a full-time gig, some changes have to be made. With a new business model calling for two swords a week, Irish Mike assembled a sword building team of questionable craftsmen and women, picked from the best, or rather, only candidates available on Martha’s Vineyard, where he is based.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Hotel Showdown on Travel Channel at 10/9c. The show squares off four different hotels against one another in a winner-take-all competition. There is no fête, large or small, that this master of matrimony cannot handle. With a do it yourself attitude and a passion for all things DIY, this Long Island native broke into the industry because of his passion for flowers. At a young age, he spent his days crafting floral arrangements that impressed his family and friends, which led to his first job with a florist where he worked with brides, and ultimately to his own event planning company, Michael Russo Events. In each episode, Mikie will help a new couple turn their dream wedding into a reality, no matter the budget.

Tonight is also the series premiere of My Big Fat Fabulous Life on TLC at 10/9c. After Whitney Thore was diagnosed with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome, she quickly gained more than 200 lbs. Struggling with self-doubt and societal pressures, but eager to continue sharing her passion for dance with the world, Whitney courageously posted a self-choreographed performance piece on YouTube in January 2014. “A Fat Girl Dancing” became an overnight sensation and turned her life upside down. The show follows Whitney’s life in Greensboro, North Carolina, with all the ups and downs, humor, heart and tears that come with being a fat girl in today’s world.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Troy: Street Magic on Syfy at 10/9c. Inspired by the classic blockbuster film, which commemorates its 20th anniversary next year, 12 Monkeys explores the provocative story of a time traveler from a decimated future in a high-stakes race against the clock. Utilizing a dangerous and untested method of time travel, he journeys from 2043 to the present day on a mission to locate and eradicate the source of a deadly plague that will all but annihilate the human race. It stars Aaron Stanford (Nikita) as time-traveler Cole, Amanda Schull (The Arrangement, Sorority Sisters) as Dr. Cassandra Railly, Kirk Acevedo (Fringe) as Ramse, Barbara Sukowa as Jones, and Noah Bean (Nikita) as Aaron Marker). Additional key recurring roles include Tom Noonan (Damages, Hell on Wheels) as a mysterious villain and Emily Hampshire (Rookie Blue) as mental patient Jennifer Goines.
