If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/14/15

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

Jenny’s Choice

onebighappysmallI’m really enjoying One Big Happy so far — and surprisingly, Nick Zano’s pretty is just a bonus. The show itself is really funny, and the chemistry between the three leads has been great. Last week, Lizzy was seriously crushing on a woman at the gym, and when Prudence and Luke wanted to try to set her up, she went along with it. She and Kate really seemed to hit it off — enjoying a “date” at the bowling alley — until Lizzy and Luke were at the doctor’s office for their first visit…and Kate ended up being the nurse. Kate seemed pretty accepting of Lizzy’s situation, but in the end, she said they couldn’t go out while Lizzy was a patient. At the end of the visit, it sure seemed like she was counting the days until that happened.

On tonight’s episode, “Flight Risk,” the ever-adventurous Prudence convinces Luke and Lizzy that they need to spice up their lives. Their idea of a good time is tackling the Farmers Market each week. Fearing that his new bride will find him too boring, Luke takes a chance at skydiving — with some disastrous results.

To see what happens when Luke skydives, tune in to NBC at 9:30/8:30c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Hell’s Kitchen, NCIS, Repeat After Me, iZombie, 19 Kids & Counting, Married at First Sight, NCIS: NOLA, Undateable, Weird Loners, 7 Little Johnstons, Chopped, Younger, & Your Family or Mine.

Kyle’s Choice

theflash414smallIt’s been a couple of weeks since we got a new episode of The Flash. In the last episode, the Trickster’s son wreaked havoc on Central City, breaking his father out of prison and taking Barry’s father as a hostage on their way out. The Trickster strapped a kinetic bomb to Barry that would go off if he ran too slow, but Harrison explained that if Barry vibrated at the speed of air, he could run through a wall, leaving the bomb behind (a new superpower!). After the ordeal, Barry was convinced that Harrison was the Reverse Flash, by the way he described the feeling of the wind while running as super-speeds. He then revealed this information and his secret identity to Eddie — basically leaving Iris as the only one who doesn’t know he’s the Flash. In the episode, we also learned the truth about Harrison — that 15 years ago, time-traveling Eobard Thawne was trapped here, stole Harrison’s identity, and has been pretending to be him ever since.

Tonight we get another Arrow crossover episode with Felicity and Ray making their way from Starling City to Central City. Finally! These crossover episodes are the only reason I’m watching Arrow! I can’t wait to see the Flash and Atom team up with their super-abilities! Will Iris will finally learn the truth about Barry? Will Barry share his suspicions about Wells with Cisco or Caitlin? Will Harrison figure out that Barry is on to him?

On tonight’s episode, “All Star Team Up,” Felicity Smoak and Ray Palmer visit S.T.A.R. Labs when Ray needs help with his Atom suit. But they are called into action when a meta-human named Brie Larvin unleashes hundreds of robotic bees to attack and kill her coworkers. Also, a group dinner with Barry, Felicity, Ray, Iris, and Eddie turns into a disaster.

Catch the buzz (*snicker* See what I did there?) tonight on The CW at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Fresh Off the Boat, Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Undateable, One Big Happy, Weird Loners, The Flash, iZombie, Younger, Justified, Sirens, Face Off, Finding Carter, and Behind the Story with the Paley Center.
