scorpion1123smallMy pick tonight is the exciting new episode of Scorpion. Last week was crazy. The team was tasked to help break into the UN, but what they came to find out was they’d been tricked by the MI6 lady and were supposed to help her agent kill an ambassador…who in his free time is an arms dealer who supplies weapons to child soldiers. But of course Scorpion figured out that the MI6 lady was actually in bed with (so to speak) the ambassador, so they made it look like they were following her orders, when in reality, they and the MI6 agent worked to take down the ambassador AND the MI6 lady legally. It was pretty fun, case-wise. On the personal front, Megan was taken off the ventilator and begged Sylvester for no more. He promised he’d figure out a way, even though Walter had gotten a court order declaring him her legal medical proxy, claiming she wasn’t of sound mind to make the decision herself. Sly’s way of doing that? Marrying her. Ray – who is a crackup! – is a legally ordained minister via some online church, and he married them (off-screen), so when they told Walter and showed him their “Band-Aid rings,” he had no choice but to accept it. He finally agreed no more if it caused her pain and promised he would continue working to save her. They were a couple of really emotional moments between Sly and Megan and also with Walter, Sly, and an asleep Megan.

Tonight is even more exciting and emotional than last week. I’ve seen the screener, and it’s another fun episode case-wise, and it certainly bumps up the emotion. It’s really well done on the part of every member of the team.

On tonight’s episode, “Arrivals and Departures,” when Team Scorpion and Walter’s parents visit Megan in the hospital as her health deteriorates, they are quarantined after a deadly fungus outbreak threatens to infect everyone. Camille Guaty, Pamela Shafer, & Glenn Keogh guest star as Megan, Louise, & Sean O’Brien.

See if the team can stop the fungus outbreak and help Megan tonight on CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Supergirl, Cake Wars, Major Crimes, NCIS: LA, Blindspot, Guilty Pleasures, Castle, & Top 5 Restaurants.

castle1123smallTonight is the fall finale of Castle. Last week, it was Castle and Beckett’s one-year anniversary, and Castle really want to do something special for his wife. The tension had been rising between Ryan and Esposito, and their therapist suggested maybe they should dissolve their partnership, but they weren’t ready to give up. So, to keep their minds off their issues, they decided to help Castle by distracting Beckett so he could decorate her office. Meanwhile, Beckett teamed up with Hayley to go undercover in a spa to find a woman with the dragonfly tattoo – the primary suspect in her case.

Later, Ryan and Esposito were in a face-off with the suspect, and she fired a gun at Esposito, but Ryan dived in front of him. Relief came over Esposito as he discovered that the bullet had hit the metal notebook he had shoved in his partner’s pocket earlier…and it had saved his life. It’s probably safe to say this brush with death will finally put an end to their squabbling. And speaking of reconciliation, Castle and Beckett spent the night together, and it looked like things were going well, until Castle caught a glimpse of a text message about Beckett’s secret mission, but Beckett doesn’t know he knows.

How much does Castle suspect about the mission Beckett is on? How much longer can she really keep it a secret? And will this once again prolong the breakup?

On tonight’s episode, “Mr. & Mrs. Castle,” an entertainer on a cruise ship is killed, and Castle and Beckett investigate while trapped on the ship with the murderer.

Find out what happens on the cruise of death tonight on ABC at 10:01/9:01c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Supergirl, Blindspot, Gotham, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, Fargo, and Major Crimes.

ncisla1123smallI have been enjoying how much time is being dedicated to give us glances into Kensi and Deeks’s relationship on NCIS: LA, because it feels like a reward for how long we waited for it to happen. We got plenty of this couple on the new episode a couple of weeks ago, when they went undercover into a very strange cult, where the head man was one incredibly charismatic but creepy guy. They went in because there was a former employee of the Department of Defense in there, and while his wife escaped already, they were concerned that he may give up information about his job with the DOD. This cult got all the information from their members, then used it to manipulate people and make money. Kensi ended up being drugged and taken into a room with a bunch of women and the head guy Lee, where the women were about to help Lee rape Kensi because they were that brainwashed. Kensi managed to fight through the drugs and escape, just in time for Deeks to rescue her…followed by the rest of the team coming in to help. I thoroughly enjoyed this episode, and I can’t wait to see what else the season has to bring. [Note from Jenny: Megan wrote this up for last week, but because the network moved it, I held on to it for this week. That’s why there’s no talk about last week’s episode, which included Talia and not a lot of Kensi & Deeks!]

On tonight’s episode, “Defectors,” the team searches for a missing teenage girl who is feared to have been recruited by a terrorist organization.

To see if the team can rescue the teenage girl from the grasp of the terrorists, tune in to CBS at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching The Voice, Blindspot, Scorpion, Minority Report, Gotham, and Supergirl.
