Jenny’s Choice #1
It’s been several weeks since the last episode of Bones. A political journalist was killed after publishing an article exposing corruption in the NSA. After lots of twists and turns, it was finally revealed that the journalist’s source was actually her killer. It was a complicated case, and while it was good, the best part of the episode was the personal stuff, from Booth and Brennan discussing what food they should have for Thanksgiving dinner, then deciding to invite their friends from the Jeffersonian and FBI, and finally having dinner all together – including Booth’s surprise…a very grown-up-looking Parker!
There are two episodes tonight, including the fall finale, which makes me very sad! I have to admit that I caved and watched both on the FOX press site, and I will say they are two very, very good episodes. The first is fun, funny, and a nice episode to whet your appetite before the second, which is much, MUCH darker, scary, intense, and one of my favorite Bones episodes to date. Every single person did an amazing job. I plan to rewatch both episodes at least once.
On tonight’s first episode, “The Cowboy in the Contest,†To solve a murder, Brennan and Booth go undercover at an Old West-style shooting competition, while Angela and Hodgins discuss the future of their family and Cam gets close with photographer Sebastian Kohl (guest star Gil Darnell). Then on the second episode, “The Doom in the Boom,†the team investigates the murder of a police officer that sends shockwaves through both the Jeffersonian and FBI teams. Behavioral analyst Leslie Green (guest star Sara Rue) is assigned to work with Booth on the investigation and lends her professional assessments on who the cop killer could be, while Cam must make some decisions in her personal life and the entire team re-evaluates what is truly important to them.

Kyle’s Choice
Tonight, ABC is celebrating the 20th anniversary of the original Toy Story film with a special three-hour event. First, at 8pm is a new behind-the-scenes retrospective, Toy Story at 20: To Infinity and Beyond, which takes a look at how Pixar’s first feature-length computer-animated film launched the amazingly successfully company and changed the industry forever. It includes interviews with the producers, animators, technical artists, designers, and voice actors who joined forces to bring Toy Story to life. They discuss what it was like making the movie as well as the huge impact the film had.
Afterward, at 9pm, ABC is airing the original Toy Story, and in case somehow you have never seen or heard of it, the film follows the adventures of a community of toys who come to life when people aren’t around. Cowboy Woody (Tom Hanks) is owner Andy’s favorite toy and leader of the group, but he finds his position threatened when Andy brings home a flashy new action hero named Buzz Lightyear (Tim Allen). The film’s amazing voice cast also includes Don Rickles, Jim Varney, Wallace Shawn, John Ratzenberger, Annie Potts, Erik von Detten, Laurie Metcalf, R. Lee Ermey, Penn Jillette, and more.
I really enjoyed the film, but I haven’t seen it in years, so I’m really looking forward to checking out tonight’s special event.

Jenny’s Choice #2
It’s also been several weeks since the last new episode of The Big Bang Theory. Sheldon and Amy hung out as friends at the aquarium. They had such a good time that Amy called him afterward as she was driving home and said she was ready to be his girlfriend again…and he basically said no, that it had hurt when she broke up with him and he didn’t want to risk getting hurt again. It was really heartbreaking. (Although I was just glad she didn’t have a car wreck right after, which is what I was guessing was going to happen!) Meanwhile, Penny and Leonard spent Thanksgiving together, and Leonard was shocked when he realized Penny didn’t even know his birthdate. She assumed he didn’t know anything about her, but he proceeded to answer all her questions perfectly, which was great…until it came out that he’d read her diary! LOL Shame on him! The others went with Bernadette to the soup kitchen to help serve food and wash dishes. Howard was…well, Howard, until he met famous scientist/inventor Elon Musk, who was hysterical.
Tonight is going to be a big episode, although I won’t spoil it for those who haven’t heard the spoiler-ific news on TVLine. But if you’re a fan of the show, you certainly don’t want to miss it!
On tonight’s episode, “The Earworm Reverberation,†Sheldon has a revelation when he realizes why a song was stuck in his head. Also, Amy invites Dave (guest star Stephen Merchant) over for dinner, despite their previously awkward date, and Wolowitz and Koothrappali become obsessed with a fan of their band, “Footprints on the Moon.”
