whoseline2016smallWe’ve had a bunch of finales the last couple of weeks, so it’ll be my great pleasure to watch a premiere instead, and there isn’t a better one right now than Whose Line Is It Anyway? on The CW. And there have been a LOT of remakes of shows, both with new characters and story lines and ones that just continue from where they left off. I was oh-so-thankful when they brought this one back, especially since they kept three of the funniest and most talented men on television: Wayne Brady, Colin Mochrie, and Ryan Stiles. If you haven’t seen the show, the basic premise is this: the performers are given a setting, style, or other instructions and have to come up with the funniest improve performances they can dream up – and what they dream up is AMAZING. It never fails to blow my mind just how creative and brilliant these performers are.

On tonight’s first episode, the guest comic is Gary Anthony Williams, while Alfonso Ribeiro also guests. Then on the second episode, the always fantastic Keegan-Michael Key guests.

Check out the always funny performances tonight on The CW at 9/8c & 9:30/8:30c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing Kids BBQ Championship, Person of Interest, & Blindspot.

thepriceisright523smallTonight, CBS kicks off three nights of The Price Is Right Primetime Specials, bringing some of your favorite CBS reality competition show contestants back to compete on the iconic gameshow alongside superfans of each reality series. Things get started with a Survivor edition, where Survivor all-stars like Jeremy Collins, Joe Anglim, Cirie Fields, and Tina Wesson face off along with their Survivor fan partners. The following two nights CBS will have similar primetime editions for Big Brother and The Amazing Race. It should be fun watching these familiar faces teaming up with their fans to play pricing games, spin the big wheel, and try to win the showcase showdown.

Play along with your Survivor faves tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Blindspot, Gotham, The Detour, 12 Monkeys, and TURN: Washington’s Spies.

blindspot523smallBlindspot has taken us on an incredible ride in its premiere season, and I am sad that tonight is the finale. Last week, “Project Jane Doe” was shut down. Weller decided to go against orders and told his team they would continue to investigate those cases. He was then reprimanded and Jane was kicked off all projects and sent packing from the FBI building. We also learned that Oscar and Jane (pre memory wipe) went to Sophia and basically emotionally blackmailed her into plotting against Mayfair. On Mayfair’s part, she decided to do some investigating of her own under the table, and it led her to Jane and Oscar’s hideout. When she confronted Jane and got ready to shoot her, Oscar shot and killed Mayfair instead. Jane tried to save her, but it was too late. And finally, on his deathbed, Kurt’s dad confessed to killing Taylor. If that’s the truth, then who is Jane?

On tonight’s episode, “Why Await Life’s End,” Weller searches for the truth within a heartbreaking and confounding assertion. Jane reaches out to a former suspect for help with Oscar. Meanwhile, the rest of the team struggle to help a friend. Aimee Carrero guest stars.

To find out if Weller can handle these discoveries, tune in to NBC at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching The Voice and Gotham .
