Tonight, The Amazing Race returns to CBS as 22 new contestants start their adventure around the globe in hopes of taking home the $1M prize. However, for this 29th season, there is a big twist: all eleven teams will be comprised of complete strangers! This race is already difficult enough when you can plan ahead for your partner’s strengths and weaknesses, but meeting your teammate on the starting mat adds even more stress to the game! A while back there was a season where half the teams were “blind dates,” and it actually worked out surprisingly well for the teams that just met. It will be interesting to see if that’s the case again. Will the lack of a history to bicker about actually help these newly formed teams? At least there isn’t necessarily a forced pretense of a love connection between the teammates this time around.

On tonight’s premiere, “We’re Coming for You, Phil!” twenty-two strangers meet at the starting line in Los Angeles and then pair up to form eleven teams who then fly to the first destination: Panama City.

Meet the new teams tonight on CBS at 10/9c.

The last episode of Chicago Med was a sad one – it began with Dr. Wheeler getting to the hospital at the start of his shift, going straight up to the 10th floor roof and stepping off (it really was just stepping off, rather than jumping or even falling…). It took everyone at the hospital by surprise. Well, sort of. Both Will (Dr. Halstead) and Sarah (Dr. Reese) realized they’d seen signs but hadn’t seen them for what they were: a cry for help. So it hit both of them extra hard. Everyone dealt with it in their own way. Some were a bit more successful than others. My favorite part was Dr. Reese going to see Dr. Charles at the end, not for herself, but to ask how HE was doing. Besides that whole story, we also watched as April and Tate broke up. Also, the case of the little boy who almost drowned but was saved by the man who jumped in after him was so scary and heartbreaking. Luckily, both the boy and the man ended up okay. But it was touch and go for a while.

This is the first episode back after Dr. Wheeler’s suicide. I don’t know how much time will have passed on the show itself, but I think the characters are still going to be dealing with it all, so I don’t think that much time has gone by. And we’re going to see a more personal story line with Will, so that should be fun, especially as it seems and he and Natalie (Dr. Manning) might be getting closer.

On tonight’s episode, “Lesson Learned,” Will is troubled with a moral decision when his former teacher, Dr. Bella Rowan (guest star Jean Moran), is faced with a life-threating disease. Dr. Rhodes and Dr. Bardovi (guest star Shiri Aljadeff) get involved in a sensitive situation when Rhodes disagrees with the father of a young patient regarding a risky procedure. Dr. Charles and Dr. Reese handle an unusual case with a pilot that causes Sarah to have memories of Jason Wheeler’s suicide. Maggie takes an aggressive approach to training a new nurse.

Find out what decision Will is faced with tonight on NBC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Big Bang Theory, MasterChef: Junior, The Great Indoors, The Amazing Race, Beat Bobby Flay, & Impractical Jokers.

The Big Bang Theory returns with an all new episode tonight, and I am extremely happy. It’s true that I thoroughly enjoy procedurals, but there are times I just want to kick back and watch something hilarious. This show definitely keeps me laughing. Sheldon and Amy are by far my favorite characters, especially now that they are living together. Their physical relationship is progressing slowly, but watching Sheldon flirt recently had me in stitches. Such great writing.

On tonight’s episode, “The Collaboration Fluctuation,” Leonard, Penny, and Raj adjust to their new living arrangement, and Sheldon takes an interest in Amy’s work.

Find out how Raj adjusts to his new digs tonight on CBS at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching Grey’s Anatomy, MasterChef: Junior, Chicago Med, The Amazing Race, The Catch, and Beat Bobby Flay.

Tonight, the short third/final season of Comedy Central’s Review with Forrest MacNeil comes to an end. Last week, Forrest’s first task was to review being a co-host, and A.J. jumped at the opportunity to take the reins of the show. Her assignment was to review slapping a stranger in the ass, but before just going out and slapping someone, she thoroughly investigated the consequences of going through with it and even consulted her boyfriend before ultimately deciding to just skip the review. This didn’t sit well with Forrest, and his review of what it was like to be Helen Keller showed the stark contrast between his approach and A.J.’s – he threw himself right into the task without a moment’s thought, donning a helmet and dark glasses to block his hearing and sight and a Victorian-era dress and wig to complete the look. Unfortunately, this also happened to be the day he took the stand for his murder trial, though he miraculously still managed to get acquitted. Forrest’s final task was to review forgiveness, but in his deluded way, instead of apologizing to his ex-wife for all the horrible things he had done to her in the name of his show, he told her that he forgave her for testifying at his trial that he was not committed to his job enough to kill a man.

I don’t see how Forrest can possibly redeem himself at this point. He does not think about the consequences of his reviews before diving in full force. His job has completely taken over and destroyed his life. I’m really curious to see what his last review could possibly be. The only way I can really see Forrest giving up his job is if his final review is to review death itself. I’ve really enjoyed this show over the years – laughing and cringing at all of Forrest’s antics – and I can’t wait to see how it all comes to an end tonight.

On tonight’s season/series finale, “Cryogenics, Lightning, Last Review,” Forrest sets out to cryogenically freeze himself and get struck by lightning. Also: A surprising message arrives from Suzanne.

See how Forrest’s reviews end tonight on Comedy Central at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Grey’s Anatomy, The Catch, The Big Bang Theory, The Great Indoors, Mom, Life in Pieces, Powerless, The Blacklist: Redemption, MasterChef: Junior, Kicking & Screaming, Riverdale, and Colony.
