Tonight is the series premiere of I’m Dying Up Here on Showtime at 10/9c. The show explores L.A.’s famed ’70s stand-up comedy scene, where the careers of legends such as David Letterman, Jay Leno, and Richard Pryor were launched. The series delves into the inspired, damaged and complicated psyches of those who stand alone in front of an audience “dying” for fame, fortune and, with any luck, a shot on Johnny Carson. It stars Academy Award winner Melissa Leo (Wayward Pines, Treme), Ari Graynor (Bad Teacher), Michael Angarano (The Knick), Clark Duke (Hot Tub Time Machine), Andrew Santino (Mixology), Erik Griffin (Workaholics), RJ Cyler (Me and Earl and the Dying Girl), Al Madrigal (The Daily Show), and Jake Lacy (Obvious Child) as part of a large ensemble cast. This fictional group of competitive but close-knit comedians is mentored by “Goldie” (Leo), a brassy comedy club owner who rules over her business with an iron fist, but nurtures her comedians with tough love. For Goldie and her crew, there’s truly no such thing as an easy laugh. Recurring guest stars include Stephen Guarino (Happy Endings), Brianne Howey (Horrible Bosses 2), Jon Daly (Kroll Show), and Ginger Gonzaga (Togetherness). Guest stars include Emmy nominee Dylan Baker (The Good Wife), Oscar nominee Robert Forster (Jackie Brown), Oscar nominee Cathy Moriarty (Raging Bull), with Sebastian Stan (Captain America: The Winter Soldier, The Martian) and Emmy Award nominee Alfred Molina (Chocolat).

Tonight is the series premiere of Incredible Edible America with the Dunhams on Food Network at 10/9c. Comedian and ventriloquist Jeff Dunham and his food-blogging wife Audrey Dunham are hitting the highway on a culinary road trip of a lifetime, discovering the most delicious and unbelievable dishes across the country. The husband and wife duo have decided to take advantage of Jeff’s touring schedule, and when the comic is not on stage, will be turning their time on the road into an unforgettable food adventure, as they discover some of America’s most mouthwatering meals and meet the mastermind chefs that create them. Throughout each of the six half-hour episodes, the couple takes viewers on a culinary adventure visiting restaurants and sweet shops in Atlanta, Austin, Dallas, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles. Along the way they are joined by some of Jeff’s most-loved characters while enjoying some over-the-top edible creations. Whether it is a yard-long sandwich stuffed with everything you can imagine including cheeseburger patties, Philly cheese steak, mozzarella sticks, and more (yes, all in one sandwich), or deep-fried tater tots smothered with just about everything in the kitchen, or homemade soft serve ice cream on top of a sugar-coated doughnut cone, the Dunhams learn how local chefs are pushing the limits of culinary creativity to make the most taste bud-tantalizing food.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Daytime Divas on VH1 at 10/9c. Every weekday at noon, Maxine (Vanessa Williams), Mo (Tichina Arnold), Heather (Fiona Gubelmann), Kibby (Chloe Bridges), and Nina (Camille Guaty) — hosts of The Lunch Hour, the long-running women’s talk show — gather around the table to discuss life, love, politics, and juicy gossip. But behind the scenes, it’s even juicier — a backstage world filled with power struggles, diva fits, and steamy affairs. Inspired by the book Satan’s Sisters… A Novel of Fiction by Star Jones, television personality, lawyer and journalist.
