Is it the weekend yet?! It may be school vacation week here in Massachusetts, but that means nothing for me. I’m ready for this week to be over—with work and that horrible Boston Marathon disaster (fortunately, I was not personally impacted). To help you relax and start thinking about the weekend, we’ve got some suggestions on what to check out on TV tonight.
Tonight at midnight, Adult Swim kicks off a new quarter-hour live-action series Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell. It is a workplace comedy set in Hell. Gary, an associate demon, wants to climb the underworld corporate ladder. However, he may just not be cut out for the job of capturing souls on Earth. On the other hand, his intern Claude will do whatever it takes to impress Satan. The series stars Matt Servitto (Banshee), Henry Zebrowski (Wolf of Wall Street), and Craig Rowin (Night of Too Many Stars).
If there’s something you can always count on from Adult Swim, it’s bizarre, humorous shows. I always find it amazing how much they manage to pack into each episode in only half the amount of time as a normal sitcom. I’m looking forward to checking out tonight’s premiere to see if this is a show I want to spend eternity with.
On tonight’s episode, “Welcome to Hell,” demon Gary and his intern, Claude, meet with a pro baseball player to convince him to thank the devil for his success on the field.
See how this hellish comedy begins tonight on Adult Swim (Comedy Central) at 11:59/10:59c. Learn where to find episodes online of Your Pretty Face is Going to Hell @ TV.com.
