Welcome to a new week of TV! This is a MUCH busier week for TV, as shows are slowly beginning to come back after the winter break. Check it out! Jump with me to view this week’s schedule!

Sunday

Sunday features 4 series premieres. First up is the series premiere of Chowdown Countdown on the Travel Channel at 10/9c. The USA boasts more than its fair share of chow down joints serving some of the biggest and best dishes of deliciousness around. So now, the Travel Channel presents the most definitive and appetizing countdown food fanatics have ever seen! Welcome to the 101 Tastiest Places to Chowdown, where 5 one-hour specials will take you on a non-stop, coast-to-coast, mouthwatering tour of the 101 absolute best places to get your grub on in the country.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Frank the Entertainer… In a Basement Affair on VH1 at 8/7c. Frank Moresco, aka the “Entertainer” from I Love New York 2 and seasons one and two of I Love Money is back and looking for love. Fifteen beautiful women traveled to New York for Frank, only to find out that they won’t be living in the elaborate mansion they expected – they will be living in Frank’s parents’ house! Outspoken Mom Susan and Dad Gary are so desperate to have 32 year old Frank move out of their basement that they have decided to make finding Frank love a family affair. The girls will have to compete for Frank’s love, and follow Mom and Dad’s house rules if they want to stay in the house. Each week at elimination, Frank will give the ladies keys to his basement, and those locked out will have to pack up – and move out.

Tonight’s third series premiere is Worst Cooks in America on the Food Network at 10/9c. Twelve of the most hopeless cooks in the country will compete in a high-stakes elimination series. At stake for the last two standing is the chance to cook for a panel of esteemed culinary critics and win the grand prize of $25,000. The five-week series will put the “recruits” through a culinary boot camp led by two acclaimed chefs: Anne Burrell, host of Food Network’s Secrets of a Restaurant Chef, and Beau MacMillan, executive chef at elements in Phoenix.

Finally, the last series premiere tonight is Secrets of Aspen on VH1 at 10/9c. The show will explore the lives of six single women who live in America’s most renowned resort town – Aspen, Colorado. Known as a playground for the rich and famous, Aspen has become one of the country’s most expensive zip codes to live in. However, not everyone living in this small town can afford to live the lavish lifestyle. Aspen is made up of haves and have-nots where friction commonly occurs between the two.

Tonight is also the season premeire of Giuliana & Bill on the Style Network at 9/8c.

Last but not least, tonight is the 2 hour special, Iron Chef America: Super Chef Battle, on the Food Network at 8/7c. Born and raised in South Africa, Donald was the youngest person ever to give venomous snake demonstrations at the world-famous Fitzsimons Snake Park. But catching, caring for and studying snakes were not enough. Now, Donald travels the globe tracking down dangerous creatures, all in the name of science. He uses his animal acumen and taste for adrenaline for a greater cause, risking his own life for research that may one day save the lives of animals and humans. The show is a 10-part series featuring Donald, world adventurer, animal expert and adrenaline junkie willing to do a job no one else dares to do. With support from the world’s top veterinarians and animal researchers, Donald travels to remote and jeopardous locales to collect venom and rare DNA critical to cataloguing species and research that will one day save countless lives. Whether harvesting venom from deadly black mambas in Mozambique, collecting lethal jelly fish tentacles off the remote coasts of Australia, chasing and relocating charging elephants in Sri Lanka, or bringing down a 600-pound wild African lion to get a blood sample in South Africa, Donald is fearless in the worldwide pursuit of bio-specimens for research and potential new scientific discoveries that he hopes will save lives.
