Ugly Betty

I can’t wait for this day to be over, it’s just been one of THOSE days. Despite that I have some news for you, some good, some bad, so let’s get to it.

First the bad. ABC has announced that this will be the last season of Ugly Betty. NOOOOOO! πŸ™ Even more bad news that the alphabet network has cut the number of episodes this season from 22 to 20. I know the show has had a bad run with ratings this year, but it has also gotten it’s creative groove back this season so I’m kind of pissed to see it go. At least there is enough time for the writers to wrap up the series gracefully and with some sort of conclusion… well they better! What are your thoughts? Source

If you watched last night’s episode of NCIS: Los Angeles then you’ve been left asking “what happened to Dom?” Well, Ausiello is helping us solve some of the mystery with an interview with executive producer, Shane Brennan. Do NOT read the interview if you haven’t watched last night’s episode because it will spoil it for you! Everyone else, go HERE.

Wow, They’re dropping like flies over at Brothers and Sisters. Calista Flockhart is going to be in less episodes next season , which is being linked to why Rob Lowe is leaving the show. No reason has been given, as to why she’ll be appearing in less episodes except that she’s working with a reduced schedule. Hmm.. speculations? All I know is if the siblings keep disappearing like this there’ll be no show left! Source

There are rumours that Macaulay Culkin may appear on the next season of Big Love, have us all wondering what role he’d play. The star of the show, Bill Paxton suggests that “He’d make a great young evangelist.” I can totally see that, can you? Source

CW announced that they have picked up a pilot for a remake of La Femme Nikita, which will revamp the original by having a new assassin being trained to replace Nikita who has gone rogue. I wasn’t a huge fan of the original(s) but who knows it might be entertaining? πŸ˜‰
Also in CW news, the network has ordered a new family drama by the producers of Gilmore Girls, Amy Sherman Palladino and Dan Palladino. The drama isn’t titled yet but it’s set on a Wyoming horse farm, and I’m game for any series by Amy Sherman Palladino aren’t you? I’ll get you more details once I know them. πŸ˜€ Source

Jennifer Lopez will be guest starring on an episode of How I Met Your Mother. Lopez will play “Anita Appleby, a no-nonsense author of self-help books that teach women how to train men into relationship machines through the power of denial. When Robin tells Anita how Barney acts toward women, she makes it her mission to ‘break’ him.” That sounds very funny, I love story lines focused on Barney (Neil Patrick Harris) because they are always so off-centered. That’s all for today but I’ll be back with more news and interviews later. You can catch an all new episode of American Idol tonight at 8 pm on FOX. Enjoy!
