I went on a field trip with my daughter’s school this morning, and we had a blast at the dairy farm. The calves were all adorable, but the smell was a little terrible, overall fun was had by all. Now I’m home and ready to help you get your fix of TV news, so here we go.
Leonard Roberts (Heroes) is going to be guest starring on Castle. He’ll be lucky enough to be partnered up with Dana Delany as a federal agent for a two part episode. I’m happy about this story line, and the casting, it always helps to have another hottie on the show in the form of Roberts. I really enjoy Castle and I’m thrilled about ABC extending the order of episodes from 22 to 24, aren’t you? Source
More after the jump.
Ausiello is dishing up some juicy offerings in his spoiler chat this week. It includes dirt on Glee, Grey’s Anatomy and NCIS, all worth reading. As always if you don’t want to be spoiled then do NOT click the link, everyone else away you go. Warning, SPOILERS AHEAD.
ABC Family has announced that two new series will premiere later this year, both with an initial order for 10 episodes. The first is the already much talked about Pretty Little Liars that is centered around “four estranged best friends who are reunited a year after the leader of their clique goes missing, only to realize that they’re all receiving anonymous messages from someone who knows all their secrets.” The series will star Lucy Kate Hale (Privileged) as well as Laura Leighton and Nia Peeples from Melrose Place. I have to admit that my interest is peaked by this series and I will be watching.
The second series is Huge, and is focused on the teens and staff at a weight loss camp. It seems like it could be another hit for the network, which is already dominating teen audiences with the brilliance of Make It or Break It and the scandalous The Secret Life of the American Teenager. Again I’ll be watching at least one episode for sure, after getting hooked on some of their other shows, I can’t help but give it a shot. 🙂 Source
Robert Englund (Nightmare on Elm Street) will be guest starring on an upcoming episode of Bones. He’ll play a janitor at Booth’s old high school where a murder took place. That’s creepy. Englund will rock this role don’t you think? Source
Finally, I wanted to include a clip from last night’s American Idol that had some really funny moments, especially with guest judge Neil Patrick Harris (How I Met Your Mother). In this clip we see a girl who used to be on Barney audition in a dominatrix outfit including a whip, it was a great audition but it was also amusing and slightly creepy. Watch and listen to NPH’s comments afterwards… so funny.
That’s all for today, have a great night and catch an all new episode of Bones tonight at 8 pm on FOX.
