If We Controlled Your Remote… 8/10/10

Another double recommendation from me today. Megan gets home today from the Vancouver set visits, and I know she had a good time. She’ll have updates for you guys in the next couple of days from the sets of Psych and Facing Kate. For now, though, you’ll have to wade through my drivel. 😉

Jenny’s 1st Choice

Tonight, my first recommendation is Warehouse 13 on Syfy at 9/8c. Eddie McClintock and Joanne Kelly are fantastic as Secret Service Agents turned Warehouse 13 Agents, and the show itself is great. It’s got gobs of humor and tons of heart, and is a great show for families. On tonight’s episode, Pete’s mission to find a traitor leads him into conflict with the Warehouse team. Tia Carrere guest stars as an ex of Pete’s. Will his loyalty to her outrank the loyalty to his job and the Warehouse? Find out on Syfy at 9/8c.

Jenny’s 2nd Choice

My second choice tonight is Covert Affairs on USA at 10/9c. This freshman drama is quickly solidifying itself as one of my favorites shows on TV. I am in love with Christopher Gorham, who plays Auggie, Annie’s blind handler. He’s just too adorable! On tonight’s episode, when the DPD gets word of an incoming shipment from Sudanese arms dealer Hasaan Waleed, Annie is sent to enlist Christopher McAuley, a former CIA operative who may hold the key to finding Hasaan. However, there are others showing an interest in the case, including former Director of Clandestine Services, Henry Wilcox, and, for reasons unknown, Ben Mercer… ER‘s Eriq La Salle (Christopher) and 24‘s Gregory Itzin (Henry) guest star. Woohoo! Eriq La Salle! He’s fantastic. Don’t miss him and all the others tonight on the USA Network at 10/9c.
