TV News – 1/12/11

How is everyone else’s week going? Having a good hump day? I’m going to bring you a bit of news and then honestly I’m going to bed, before 9 pm lol, I’m getting old. 🙂

CBS has announced that they have renewed the awesome comedy, The Big Bang Theory, for an additional three years, bringing us into the 2013-2014 season. There’s no real surprise here, this show is pure comedic gold, and deserves to be on the air for a long time. I am really excited aren’t you? Source

More after the jump.

ABC is picking up a pilot with a strange title, it’s called, Don’t Trust the Bitch in Apartment 23. Whew, that’s some title. It follows a ” naive young woman who comes to New York City and ends up with a trouble-making party-girl roommate.” The pilot will be directed by Jason Winer who directed the pilot of Modern Family. I’m a little curious to see how this goes, but even more curious to see how they deal with the title.Source

Speaking of pilots with odd names, FOX has just announced picking up a pilot called, I Hate My Teenager Daughter. (First shouldn’t it be called ‘I Hate My Teenage Daughter’… just saying) Anyways, the show is about two moms who were tortured and teased by “mean girls” in high school, are now appalled and to learn that their own daughters are turning into the same type of girls they never liked. It’s an interesting theory, and after all we’ve all had our own forms of “mean girls” in our lives, what would you do if your child turned into one? Hmmm… Source

Okay that’s all for now folks, I’m off to bed. Sweet dreams and I hope you all have a great day tomorrow.
