If We Controlled Your Remote… 4/28/11

It’s Thursday, and there are a lot of great things on tonight! It’s return of some of my favorites, like The Mentalist on CBS, and Grey’s Anatomy & Private Practice on ABC, as well as some other fan favorites, like a new episode of Running Wilde on FX (not FOX!), and a HUGE episode for The Office on NBC. What are you excited to watch tonight? Check out what the three of us think you should be watching, and then comment and let us know your plans. 🙂

I’m always excited now for Thursdays, because of Bones. We’re gearing up to the end of the season, and hopefully a Booth/Brennan pairing. If it doesn’t happen that way, I know a lot of fans, myself included, will be MORE than pissed off. lol Still, even if you aren’t a shipper, the show itself is more than worth the watch! Tonight’s episode sounds fantastic, and from what I’ve seen so far, it will be. It’s all about being radically honest, and if Bones is anything, she’s never hesitant to tell it like it is.

On tonight’s episode, the remains of a successful ad man are found in a community center playground, and the team finds a connection to a radical honest support group, which leads them to try and be more honest in their communications. Hodgins confronts pregnancy realities.

Don’t miss it tonight on FOX at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Bones @ Clicker.

On the last episode of Grey’s Anatomy, Callie was in a car accident, almost died, and her baby had to be born extremely premature. It was also the musical episode, which worked so much better than I expected. I don’t know what’s going to happen to that precious baby, or to Callie, but I do know that Shonda has set us up for another round of emotional turmoil that we just keep coming back for.

On tonight’s episode, everyone pulls together to help Callie and baby Sofia on their difficult journeys to recovery, in hopes that Callie will finally be able to meet her little girl. Derek loses a patient in the clinical trial, causing him to proceed with more caution, while Meredith makes a calculated and risky move. Elsewhere, Alex treats a cranky old rich woman dying of cancer and gets an idea for a grandiose endeavor that is sure to get him the Chief Resident spot; and Teddy is pleasantly surprised by the return of a familiar face.

Tune into ABC at 9/8c to see how things go for fan favorite Callie. Learn where to find episodes online of Grey’s Anatomy @ Clicker.

The time has come, and we don’t even feel ready for it. Michael Scott is about to make his exit from Dunder Mifflin, and Steve Carell is taking his bow from The Office. It’s hard to imagine all of the laughs we’ve shared over the seasons with Steve, and Michael, and have it all boil down to this one moment. As Michael Scott, Carell has brought so many chuckles, snorts, guffaws, and side squeezes with his bumbling but good hearted portrayal of this paper selling misfit. How do you say goodbye to someone so beloved, when you can’t imagine letting them go?

Tonight, Michael wants a drama free day in order to say goodbye to his friends, while Deangelo and Andy work to keep Michael’s most important clients.

Tip your hat tonight to Steve Carell, and to Michael Scott, as you bid them both bon voyage at 9/8c on NBC! Learn where to find episodes online of The Office @ Clicker.
