Click here for premiere & finale information

Tonight is the series premiere of Chef Hunter on Food Network at 10/9c. In this new six episode docu-reality series, culinary recruiter Carrie McCully provides a few promising out-of-work chefs the opportunity to audition for a coveted Executive Chef position in some of the top restaurants around the country. In each episode the select chefs are put to the ultimate test as the restaurant’s general manager and owner challenge the chefs’ culinary skill, business acumen and tenacity required to be an Executive Chef. The chosen chefs then experience the most pressure-filled night of their lives, as they get the chance to run the restaurant for the night. For one Chef, getting the job could change their own fate and the fortunes of a top restaurant.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Hell on Wheels on AMC at 10/9c. The show transports audiences back to post Civil War America and examines the struggles and hardships of rebuilding and repairing our country after the bloodiest war on American soil. The series examines the railroad’s institutionalized greed and corruption, the immigrant experience, the plight of the newly emancipated African-Americans during Reconstruction, and the ravaging of the Native American land and people, in the name of progress. The main throughline of Hell on Wheels is the story of Confederate soldier Cullen Bohannon (Anson Mount) and his quest for revenge over the wartime death of his wife. Over time, it chronicles this potent turning point in our nation’s history, and how uncivilized the business of civilization can be. The show stars Anson Mount (City by the Sea, Cook County), Common (Just Wright, Date Night), Colm Meaney (Get Him to the Greek), Dominique McElligott (Moon), Ben Esler (The Pacific), Philip Burke (Mercy), and Eddie Spears (Into the West).

Tonight is the season premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta on Bravo at 9/8c.

Tonight is also the 1-hour season finale of Long Island Medium on TLC at 10/9c.

Finally, tonight is the original telefilm, John Sandford’s Certain Prey on USA Network at 9/8c. Based on the novel by best selling author and Pulitzer Prize winner John Sandford, the movie stars multiple Emmy and Golden Globe nominated Mark Harmon (NCIS) as Minneapolis Deputy Police Chief Lucas Davenport. With the body count rising, Davenport pursues a hit woman and a murderous lawyer. It centers on Lucas Davenport (Harmon), the Deputy Chief of Police for the city of Minneapolis. Davenport doesn’t need his job; he could have retired long ago with the money he made designing computer simulations. But Davenport loves what he does just as much as he loves nice suits, fast cars and women. When a cop is shot after witnessing the murder of the wife of a local real estate lawyer, Davenport is called to the scene. The cops quickly zero in on the husband as the prime suspect until a team of FBI agents (or “feebs” as Davenport describes them) descends on Minneapolis with evidence linking the crime to elusive hit woman Clara Rinker (Tatiana Maslany). Taking charge of the investigation, Davenport suspects that Clara is not working alone and sets his sights on Carmel Loan (Lola Glaudini, Criminal Minds), a high-powered attorney with an intense obsession for the real estate lawyer. As Carmel and Clara try to cover up their crimes, the body count grows and Davenport does what he does best — break all of the rules to nab this deadly duo.
