It’s the start of a new week. That is a good and bad thing. For a lot of people, that means they are only days away from Comic-Con. For others that are not so lucky (like me. lol), that means a new work week. But there’s still one more night to relax before you go back to work, so check out what we think you should be watching. 🙂
I have to say I’ve been worried about this season of The Glades because Callie moved away to work and go to medical school and then the sexy hot Bureau Chief is showing an awfully big interest in Jim. But I caught up over the last few days and have been really happy with how it’s going so far. Yeah, it sucks that Callie isn’t in town, but they’ve done well with phone calls and the visits—like last week, when Jim surprised her at work with dinner from a local food truck. I’m still crossing my fingers that they don’t make Jim a cheater or have him & Callie break up. I want the Bureau Chief chick to go away. We’ll see how it goes. As for the cases, they have been as great as they always are and continue to be one of the reasons this is one of my favorite shows ever.
I’m looking forward to this week’s episode because it brings back two previous stories from the show. It’ll be interesting to see how they are handled this time around.
On tonight’s episode, “Old Times,” when a convicted killer contacts the Innocence Project and gets his case reopened, Jim must team up with his ex-partner; Callie learns a shocking truth about Miranda when she is faced with testifying against the IRS agent who sexually harassed her.
Don’t miss it tonight on A&E at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of The Glades @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’m also going to be watching/DVRing Longmire, Cupcake Wars, Food Network Star, Iron Chef America, Falling Skies, The Great Escape, & the series premiere of Bounty Wars.

True Blood has been a little crazy this season—lots of vampire politics, Sookie melting down after killing someone, werewolves, and now fairies. Whew, I’m tired just reading that. Last week, we saw Pam be released by Eric so that she was safe, and it was a really twisted and touching moment. Sookie felt guilty for everything that she’s caused, so she drank until she couldn’t see straight, and then Alcide showed up. Alcide and Sookie flirted until they FINALLY kissed—although their timing was terrible because Bill was checking up on Sookie and saw everything. Jason and Andy went to a private party with the judge, and it ended up being in fairy land—Jason ran into his cousin and learned that his parents were actually killed by vampires, unlike what he was told.
On tonight’s episode, “Let’s Boot and Rally,” Bill and Eric hope Sookie can help them find Russell; Layfayette calls out to Jesus’s spirit for help; Patrick and Terry are held hostage; Jason has a disturbing dream; Jessica gives Tara advice; Sam gives Luna some bad news.
To see what insanity they get up to this episode, tune in to HBO at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of True Blood @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching The Great Escape, Iron Chef America, Drop Dead Diva, and Extreme Makeover: Weight Loss Edition.
Last year, AMC added a live talk show called Talking Dead that aired after each new episode of The Walking Dead. Host Chris Hardwick (The Nerdist) would bring on the cast and creators of the show along with celebrity fans to talk about that night’s episode and what they thought or hoped would happen on the show. The third season of The Walking Dead is still three months away, but tonight, AMC has a special live primetime Talking Dead special. In tonight’s show, Executive Producer Glen Mazarra and other guests will give a preview of season three.
Since I will most likely miss the Walking Dead panel at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con due to scheduling conflicts, I’m excited to at least get to see this glimpse into the upcoming third season. AMC is also kicking off a replay of the first two seasons leading up to the season three premiere, so check your listings to find out more.
Check it out tonight on AMC at 9/8c. Learn where to find episodes online of Talking Dead @ Clicker.
Tonight, I’ll also be watching/recording Food Network Star, Falling Skies, The Great Escape, The Glades, Longmire, Drop Dead Diva, True Blood, The Newsroom, Weeds, and Episodes.
