We’ve made it to the end of another week. It’s been a rough week for a lot of people, so if you have blessings in your life, take a moment to be thankful for them. Then curl up & watch some great TV. 😉 Here are our recommendations!

Tonight is the 1-hour series finale of Raising Hope. I’m very sad about that because I’ve been a huge fan of the show since the beginning. I loved when they got Jimmy & Sabrina together. He is far from the smartest guy on the block, but together, they’re completely adorable. Last week was a great one to start wrapping up the series. Burt and Virginia were experiencing empty-nest syndrome since Jimmy, Hope, and Sabrina weren’t living with them anymore and Maw Maw was off on a Grateful Dead tour. They tried to adopt a dog, which didn’t work out well, but it led them to volunteering at the hospital with children, which was perfect. As for Jimmy & Sabrina, they had a very cute couple moment, where Sabrina admitted to pretending to have interest in Hope when it was really Jimmy she was interested in.
This show has been a little crude, a little…white trash, if you will, but since the beginning, it’s been a comedy with a lot of heart, and it never failed to bring the funny. I’ll miss it. (And hopefully we’ll have a better series finale than we did with How I Met Your Mother! 😉
On tonight’s first episode, “How I Met Your Mullet,” Jimmy and Sabrina get a surprise when they learn that Sabrina’s late grandmother has left them the family maid (guest star Lesley Nicol), who has a lifetime contract with the family. Meanwhile, Virginia gets a promotion at work that allows Burt to retire and pursue his passion – even if he doesn’t know what his passion is.
Then, on the series finale, “The Father Daughter Dance,” Virginia’s father, Arnold (guest star Jeffrey Tambor), returns to Natesville seeking help in planning his upcoming wedding. But Arnold surprises everyone when he reveals that the wedding Virginia has planned is really for her and Burt – the dream wedding they never got to have as teen parents.
See the end of a great series tonight on FOX at 9/8c & 9:30/8:30c.

Hawaii Five-0 is back tonight with an all-new episode, and I couldn’t be happier. Last episode was fantastic, with McGarrett learning some more information about his mom and dad, thanks to Jerry finding coordinates on Steve’s dad’s toolbox. I really like Jerry. I find him incredibly amusing, and I think he’s a great addition to the show. Also in this episode, Danny recreated his parent’s first date to help them reconcile, and thankfully for everyone, it worked. 🙂 I love the way the writers balance crime stuff with relationship development, and I can’t wait to see where they go with this Jerry story line this season.
On tonight’s episode, “Ho’i Hou (Reunited),” the team investigates the murder of a tycoon’s daughter who was killed by a stiletto heel in Chin’s high-school reunion. Jorge Garcia & Rob Corddry guest star.
To see how the case turns out, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching Blue Bloods, Grimm, and Unforgettable.
While Canada already has a couple of weeks’ head start on us, tonight, Syfy is finally kicking off the third season of Continuum for us viewers in the States. At the end of last season, a group of Freelancers went after Kiera, trying to stop her from using the time travel device. But Alec grabbed it first and headed back in time to save his girlfriend from being killed. Meanwhile, Carlos left his badge on his desk and walked out, seemingly joining Liber8. And in the final moments, we saw Kiera and the others from the future, locked-up like prisoners in glass cells by the Freelancers.
Is Carlos really a part of Liber8, or is this some kind of undercover mission? What do the Freelancers want with Kiera and the others? How will she escape this prison, and will she ever return to her own time? And what is up with Alec—what was his ultimate goal in sending Kiera and Liber8 back in time?
On tonight’s episode, “Minute by Minute,” Kiera puts everything on the line and her trust in a mysterious group as she races to stop Alec, who’s trying to save Emily, from altering history.
See if Kiera can stop Alec in time tonight on Syfy at 10/9c.
I’ll also be watching/recording The Neighbors, Grimm, and Raising Hope.

Unforgettable returns tonight to finish out its second season. The last new episode was in September! That ep was all about a treasure hunt under the streets of New York. It was actually a lot of fun…and we saw sparks once again between Carrie & Al. I want them to get back together! I’m really glad it’s back, regardless. I love Poppy Montgomery, Dylan Walsh, & Jane Curtin. Together, they help make up a great cast.
On tonight’s episode, “Til Death,” after a wealthy couple is murdered, Carrie and Al pose as a married couple to lure in the killer, who Al believes is linked to a series of unsolved homicides he once investigated.
To see how well Carrie & Al go undercover together, tune in to CBS at 8/7c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing Last Man Standing, Whose Line Is It Anyway? (with Darren Criss, from Glee), The Neighbors, Grimm, Hawaii Five-0, & Blue Bloods.
