Tonight is the series premiere of The Real Housewives of Atlanta: Kandi’s Wedding on Bravo at 8/7c. Against vocal family opposition that played out dramatically in season six of The Real Housewives of Atlanta, Kandi and Todd have decided to move forward and tie the knot. Each episode follows Kandi and Todd as they plan a larger-than-life Coming to America-themed wedding ceremony, signifying the couple’s initial introduction in Africa. The two are confident that they can pull off their dream wedding without the help of a wedding planner — and in only five short weeks. Adding to the pressure of a major time crunch is the reality that family drama is never far away. Kandi and Todd are hosting his mother at their house prior to the wedding and are faced with her opposition towards the outspoken Momma Joyce. Will there be a clashing of mother- in-laws and will Kandi find the strength to stand up to Mama Joyce, or will her powerful influence jeopardize the bride-to-be’s fairytale wedding?

Tonight is also the 2-hour series premiere of Return to Amish on TLC at 9/8c, preceded by a 1-hour “Our Journey So Far” special at 8/7c. The show finds ex-Amish rebels Abe, Jeremiah, Kate, Rebecca, and Sabrina back in the Amish world to face marriage, pregnancy, birth, and the lingering consequences of shunning. Abe’s parents, the rule-bending Amish matron Mary and the strictly religious Chester, serve as their hosts. Mary and Chester have struggles of their own that put them in a precarious situation. Their daughter Katie Ann has a big decision to make, and their son Andrew, just out of jail, adds fuel to the fire by bringing his opinionated English girlfriend, Chapel, back home with him. Sabrina and Rebecca are both expecting babies, Kate is anxiously awaiting the career opportunity of a lifetime, Abe and Andrew’s sibling rivalry is reignited through new clashes, and Jeremiah must put it all on the line to find happiness.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Halt and Catch Fire on AMC at 10/9c. The show is set roughly one year after IBM all but corners the market with the release of its first major product – the IBM PC. In this fictional drama, a former IBM executive, Joe MacMillan (Lee Pace, Pushing Daisies) plans to reverse engineer the flagship product of his former employer and forces his current company, Cardiff Electric, into the personal computer race. MacMillan enlists the help of Gordon Clark (Scoot McNairy), a great engineer whose unrealized dreams of creating a revolutionary product have created tension in his marriage to Donna (Kerry Bishé, Scrubs), and Cameron Howe (Mackenzie Davis), a volatile prodigy who puts her future in jeopardy to join MacMillan’s rogue PC project. Halt and Catch Fire thrives on the spirit of innovation and explores what it’s like to stand at the forefront of something world-changing and work towards it, no matter the risk.

Tonight is the series premiere of Copycat on MTV at 6:30/5:30c. Hosted by Jonathan Bennett of Mean Girls fame, the series will showcase contestants who think they can sing just like their favorite music artists. Imitation is the highest form of flattery, but will these contestants be able to do their idols justice? In each episode, six contestants pay tribute to their celebrity icons in a “cat fight battle,” where two fans who idolize the same artist are pitted against one another in a sing off in front of a live studio audience. The audience is not able to see the singers at first, so the contestants must rely on their voices alone to impress them and win their votes. Some contestants may be able to fool the crowd into thinking they are the real thing while others will leave the audience running for the door. The two final performers will then undergo makeovers and transform them into their celebrity idols, for one last performance of the idols’ songs in an effort to win $5,000!

Tonight is also the series premiere of Ladies of London on Bravo at 10/9c. From weekend getaways in the English countryside to high tea at one of London’s exclusive polo-clubs, these six ladies adhere to the city’s strict unwritten rules of engagement where fortune has less influence than bloodlines, reputation is everything and respect is not easily earned. Annabelle Neilson, Caroline Stanbury, Juliet Angus, Caprice Bourret, Marissa Hermer and Noelle Reno are a group of elite British socialites and American expats who run in similar social circles, but are worlds apart in London’s high society. Joining them is a “Royal Friend of the Ladies,” Julie Montagu, who is married to the heir of the Earl of Sandwich.

Tonight is the series premiere of Famous in 12 on The CW at 8/7c. The show is an unscripted series/social experiment that will film one fame-seeking family around the clock for 12 weeks straight. The family will be guided by the TMZ machine, which will create a series of opportunities for them. TMZ and Harvey Levin will help, and additional experts will be brought in throughout the course of the series to provide input and guidance on the path to fame, but it is up to the family to pull it off. Throughout their 12-week quest, the family will circulate through some of Los Angeles’ most populated – and popular – venues in order to seize opportunities that might come calling.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Siberian Cut on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Sean Vann is an “American Logger” with a plan… a big plan. For seventeen years, he’s worked in one of the most hostile environments on the planet, logging for the Russian Forestry Industry. Batting with old machinery, negotiating deals and overcoming bitter Cold War tension, Sean has had enough of working for the Russians – it’s time they work for him. The show follows Sean as he puts everything on the line for the opportunity of a lifetime in deepest Siberia. With a recession, soaring fuel prices and strict government restrictions in the American logging industry, Russia is a promised land of bountiful timber. Sean has a 3-month contract to cut wood, set up his own operation and become master of his own destiny. Not undertaking this fortune-seeking journey alone, Sean uproots four American loggers to the frozen wilds of Siberia to work alongside his own Siberian crew. If Sean can fulfil his contract with the Colonel who runs the land, he is set to make hundreds of thousands of dollars. With the hope of great reward also comes added danger, and the men must work side by side with a Russian crew, who have a very different view of the world and way of working. If these age old enemies can’t work together, a new cold war could break out deep in the Siberian forest.

Each episode features a different divorcing couple struggling to divvy up their belongings that range from dazzling diamonds to the family pets. There, she reunites with her former best friend (Missi Pyle) who turns out to be holding quite a grudge. But every cloud has a silver lining: there’s nowhere to go but up.
