Having a job you love is so satisfying. Especially when you go there from one you really kind of hate. I’m in that position right now, and I feel so lucky. I just had to share that. *grin* I’m also lucky because there’s some great TV on tonight. Kyle’s busy getting ready for Comic-Con, so Megan & I are here to give you our recommendations.

I tend not to stick with shows on ABC Family I start, but so far, I’m really, really enjoying Young & Hungry & Mystery Girls. On Young & Hungry, there’s so much chemistry between Gabi & Josh. I’m loving seeing Emily Osment in something after Hannah Montana. Last week, Gabi thought she was pregnant, so she took a pregnancy test while there at work at Josh’s apartment. Okay, first, what the heck? Why in the world didn’t she just take it at home? Either before work or after? But I know for the story line’s sake, she couldn’t. LOL When the box was found in the trash, they assumed it was Caroline’s, and Josh was thrilled. When he realized it wasn’t her, but Gabi, he privately told her that he’d have supported her if it had turned out to be positive. I really want them together, darnit. They’re just too cute!
On tonight’s episode, “Young & Younger,” Sofia encourages Gabi to start dating again in the hopes she’ll move on from Josh. But Josh takes an immediate dislike to Gabi’s new guy, Cam (guest star Nick Roux, Pretty Little Liars), leaving Gabi confused about their relationship. And when Josh seems to discover some surprising news about Cam, Gabi refuses to believe him, which leads her to learn even more surprising news about Cam. Meanwhile, Elliot tries a little too hard to fit in with Josh’s programmer friends.
See Josh get jealous tonight and how he & Gabi come to terms with it tonight on ABC Family at 8/7c.

Every once in a while, we all take a moment to reflect on our pasts, but what if someone gave you an opportunity to learn more about where you came from? That’s exactly what Who Do You Think You Are? does for one celebrity every week. Last season, we watched the likes of Jim Parsons and Zooey Deschanel wander through their ancestry, and they were all excited to learn things they’d never imagined. What amazes me is when they learn things that are less than good and slightly daunting, like a murder or abuse in the family—sometimes, things in our past aren’t always pretty. What about you? Would you like to know where you came from if you had the chance?
On tonight’s episode, “Cynthia Nixon,” actress Cynthia Nixon searches through her paternal lineage and discovers a story of deceit and murder relating to her family.
To see what a rocky road Cynthia travels, tune in to TLC at 9/8c.
I’ll also be watching So You Think You Can Dance, Taxi Brooklyn, Restaurant: Impossible, and America’s Got Talent.

I’m also really enjoying ABC Family’s Mystery Girls. It was great last week to see how the pair came back together after working together on the “Mystery Girls” TV show and why they split in the first place. I don’t know if that episode was meant to air as the premiere or not, but it would’ve worked, I think. Still, at least now we’ve seen it and can reference it in our heads when we think of their past. I think my favorite part last week was seeing Nick and how he met the girls and joined the team. And seeing Captain Awesome…I mean Ryan McPartlin. He’s quite sexy as Detective Duane Freeman.
On tonight’s episode, “High School Mystery,” Holly’s high-school principal Mr. Frost (Joe E. Tata, who starred in Beverly Hills 90210 with Jennie Garth & Tori Spelling) hires the Mystery Girls to make sure he does not become the target of the senior prank before he retires. When the detectives go undercover at West Beverly in order to stop the culprit, Holly realizes this job is her chance to have the normal high school experience she never had but always wanted. Desperate to fit in, she becomes obsessed with being popular and momentarily forgets about their case while Charlie takes her role as a gym teacher a little too seriously. Once the mystery is solved, Holly asks Mr. Frost for her long-awaited diploma, prompting the student body to start chanting “Holly Hamilton Graduates.”
Find out if Holly gets that diploma and the girls keep the principal safe from the senior prank tonight on ABC Family at 8:30/7:30c.
I’ll also be watching/DVRing So You Think You Can Dance, America’s Got Talent, Cousins Undercover, Hot in Cleveland, Jennifer Falls, Restaurant Stakeout, Rowhouse Showdown, Tiny House Nation, Motive, & Taxi Brooklyn.
