Tonight is the 2-hour series premiere of Marvel’s Agent Carter on ABC at 8/7c. It’s 1946 and peace has dealt Agent Peggy Carter (Hayley Atwell), a serious blow as she finds herself marginalized when the men return home from fighting abroad. Working for the covert SSR (Strategic Scientific Reserve), Peggy finds herself stuck doing administrative work when she would rather be back out in the field, putting her vast skills into play and taking down the bad guys. But she is also trying to navigate life as a single woman in America, in the wake of losing the love of her life, Steve Rogers – aka Captain America. When old acquaintance Howard Stark (Dominic Cooper, Marvel’s Captain America: The First Avenger) finds himself being framed for unleashing his deadliest weapons to anyone willing to pony up the cash, he contacts Peggy — the only person he can trust — to track down those responsible, dispose of the weapons and clear his name. He empowers his butler, Edwin Jarvis (James D’Arcy), to be at her beck and call when needed to help assist her as she investigates and tracks down those responsible for releasing these weapons of mass destruction. If caught going on these secret missions for Stark, Peggy could be targeted as a traitor and spend the rest of her days in prison – or worse.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Living Different on Oxygen at 9/8c. The show profiles nine brave and inspiring young women who are anything but conforming and “traditional” in a candid four-part special event. Each hour-long special will feature two extraordinary stories of diverse women who are unrestricted by social norms as they follow their passion whether it be love, spirituality or profession. From an all-girl Hasidic rock band that is taking their female empowerment message mainstream to an androgynous model who dates both males and females, these women are unapologetically marching to the beat of their own drum.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Child Genius on Lifetime at 10/9c. This new competition series centers on America’s most extraordinary and gifted children and their families as they prepare for a national intelligence competition. In cooperation with American Mensa, the competition takes place over eight weeks and tests the nation’s brightest young minds on their knowledge of Math, Spelling, Geography, Memory, the Human Body, U.S. Presidents, Vocabulary, Current Events, Zoology, Astronomy and Space, Inventions, Literature and the Arts, Earth Science, and Logic. Hosted by Leland Melvin, former NASA astronaut, the show features 20 boys and girls ages 8 to 12 from across the country, all competing for a $100,000 college fund and the title of Child Genius 2014.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Framework on Spike TV at 10/9c. Hosted by renowned hip-hop artist, actor, and author, Common, the show will showcase the nation’s best emerging furniture designers as they compete for a $100,000 cash prize and the opportunity for their work to be sold by a major manufacturer. Over the course of ten weeks, 13 of these innovative and inspiring builders will put their artistry and skill to the test in a series of challenges. The competitors will be pushed to the brink of their physical and creative limits with challenges that ask them to reconsider everything they know about designing and building furniture. The builders will use unconventional materials, rethink classic furniture pieces, and incorporate a variety of techniques and disciplines to demonstrate their mastery of furniture creation. In each episode, a contestant will be eliminated by a panel of judges led by host Common. Throughout his career as an artist, Common has been on the cutting edge of trends and brings his keen eye for style and understanding of consumer desire to the competition. He will be joined by two of the most influential names in the furniture world today; Nolen Niu and Brandon Gore.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Wild Transport on A&E at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. The show follows the passionate team at the premier animal rescue, removal and relocation company that specializes in the dangerous and deadly. The Wild Transport team is led by dynamic duo, Rick and Andrew, who are extreme opposites but share a childlike enthusiasm for creatures big and small, taking advantage of any opportunity to get up close and personal with the animals they transport. From lions and tigers to alligators and cobras, each transport proves to be an adventure with its own set of challenges as they travel across the country with unique and risky cargo in tow.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Hack My Life on TruTV at 10:30/9:30c. This weekly themed half hour show provides a comedic spin on the never-ending supply of everyday life hacks. Hosted by Kevin Pereira and Brooke Van Poppelen, this new series demonstrates step by step how to incorporate eye popping shortcuts and cheats guaranteed to save today’s busy adults a lot of time, effort and money. From parenting and the workday, to vacations and parties, viewers’ lives will never be the same again.

Tonight is the series premiere of Empire on FOX at 9:01/8:01c. This powerful new drama follows Lucious Lyon (Academy Award nominee Terrence Howard, Crash, Hustle & Flow, Law & Order: LA), the head of a music empire whose reign has been unchallenged for years. But all that changes when he learns he has a disease and must choose one of his three sons to take over: Andre (Trai Bryers, 90210), Jamal (Jussie Smollett, North, The Mighty Ducks), or Hakeem (acting newcomer Bryshere Gray, a.k.a. Yazz The Greatest). Complicating matters is their mother and Lucious’ ex-wife, Cookie (Academy Award and Emmy Award nominee Taraji P. Henson, Person of Interest), who emerges from prison to claim her share.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Hindsight on VH1 at 10/9c. What if you could go back in time and do it all over again? What would you do differently? Those are the questions this new show poses. In the series premiere, we meet Becca (Laura Ramsey) on the eve of her second wedding. It all seems perfect this time around, but she is still plagued by doubt. What if she could fix everything, and make the ‘right’ choices this time? Becca finds herself thinking about her former best friend Lolly (Sarah Goldberg), with whom she had a falling out many years ago. If only she could talk to her once again… Suddenly, after a freakish elevator ride, Becca gets the opportunity to do just that as she wakes up in New York City on the morning of her first wedding day in 1995. She’s about to marry Sean (Craig Horner), a bad-boy artist who is all wrong for her – and she knows her first move must be to reconnect with Lolly to re-live that day. Can she ‘make it right’ by living her life all over while readapting to life in New York City in the 90’s – a time of smoking in bars, carrying pagers, having an AOL email address? Becca will soon discover there’s no sure-fire way to make the right choices in life – even knowing everything she thinks she knows now.

Finally, tonight is the 1-hour series premiere of Donnie Loves Jenny on A&E at 10:30/9:30c. The show will follow Wahlberg and McCarthy from their recent wedding through their lives as newlyweds.
