Tonight is the series premiere of Like a Boss on Oxygen at 9/8c. Executive produced by entertainer and businessman Nick Cannon, the docu-series follows four hardworking and motivated assistants as they look to emulate the success of their respective bosses, but know that it in order to get to the top, they must start at the bottom. Featuring Amber Grimes, assistant to media mogul Nick Cannon; Devin Simpson assistant to successful real estate agent Blair Myers; Rian Parish, assistant to popular radio personality Big Tigger; and Drekia Glenn assistant to music executive Abou “Bu” Thiam, these protégés are out to prove they have the drive, focus and ambition to be a future CEO. Talent can only take this group so far, however, as they struggle to balance their personal and professional lives with the tempting Atlanta social scene surrounding them. From cleaning cars to house hunting and everything in between, these up-and-comers know they are one wrong coffee order away from a pink slip.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Path on hulu at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. The show follows a family at the center of a controversial cult as they struggle with relationships, faith and power. Each episode takes an in-depth look at the gravitational pull of belief and what it means to choose between the life we live and the life we want. The series comes to Hulu from Universal Television and Jason Katims’ True Jack Productions and was created by Jessica Goldberg who will write and executive-produce the series, along with Katims and Michelle Lee of True Jack Productions. The 10-episode series stars Aaron Paul, Michelle Monaghan, Hugh Dancy, and Rockmond Dunbar.

Tonight is the series premiere of Rush Hour on CBS at 10/9c. This reimagining of the hit feature film franchise is an action comedy about a maverick LAPD detective and a by-the-book detective from Hong Kong who knock heads when they are forced to partner together. Detective Lee (Jon Foo) is a reserved, honorable master martial artist with lightning-fast moves who comes to L.A. to avenge his sister’s alleged death and learn more about her connection to a Chinese organized crime ring. Detective Carter (Justin Hires), on the other hand, is a wisecracking cop who plays by his own rules. As exasperated as his boss, Captain Cole (Wendie Malick), gets with him, she knows Carter is a brilliant detective who gets results. Attempting to help the two get along is Sergeant “Didi” Diaz (Aimee Garcia), Carter’s friend and former partner who doesn’t hesitate to call him out on his antics. Secretly aiding them as an informant is Carter’s cousin, Gerald (Page Kennedy), a low-level offender who runs with a tough crowd. Even as cultures clash and tempers flare, Carter and Lee can’t deny they make a formidable team, and grudgingly admit that sometimes an unlikely pairing makes for a great partnership.

Tonight is also the series premiere of The Ranch on Netflix at
3:01AM/2:01AMc on Thursday night/Friday morning. Set in present day on a Colorado ranch, this multi-camera comedy series stars Ashton Kutcher, Danny Masterson, Sam Elliott, and Debra Winger. The show follows Colt’s (Kutcher) return home after a brief and failed semi- pro football career to run the family ranching business with his older brother Jameson “Rooster” (Masterson) and father Beau (Elliott), whom he hasn’t seen in 15 years. Winger stars as Colt’s and Rooster’s mother, Maggie, who runs the local town bar.

Tonight is the one-hour series premiere of What If We Get Married? on TLC at 9:30/8:30c. What if you…married your friend with benefits or your best friend? It’s a question many friends have asked each other, and this new show explores the changing relationship of two couples who have never dated each other as they figure out if the key to a successful marriage is sexual chemistry or friendship. They’ll find out what happens when they ditch the traditional pattern of relationship, engagement, and marriage and take the plunge. Will the couples’ new dynamic cause an onslaught of problems, or will the fireworks last forever?

Tonight is also the series premiere of Driven to Love on WE at 10/9c. Why waste time dating online, when you can get driven to love! For the first time ever, a relationship will actually start in the backseat of a car and develop from there. Hosted by multi-talented artist, and now the ultimate pick-up artist, Ray J, each episode will feature one hopeful single will hitch a ride in our tricked out SUV alongside Ray J, who will serve as their personal driver and wingman, providing insightful dating advice as they cruise around town meeting potential mates. En route to the airport, Ray J will present five carefully selected prospects; as well as games, challenges and questions to help the lucky dater pick the partner of their dreams. However as the mileage increases, this type of speed dating has a limit; our single dater will have to choose who stays and who goes and those who fail to impress will get kicked to the curb. At the end of the day they’ll choose one match to join them for a romantic weekend getaway, in the hopes of building a new relationship.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Wynonna Earp on Syfy at 10/9c. Based on the IDW Comic, the show follows Wyatt Earp’s great-granddaughter as she battles demons and other creatures. With her unique abilities and a posse of dysfunctional allies, she’s the only thing that can bring the paranormal to justice. After years away, Wynonna Earp has traveled back to her home town of Purgatory to reluctantly take on the role destined for Wyatt Earp’s heir: Demon protector. Her enemy: Revenants, the resurrected (and twisted) souls of the criminals Wyatt Earp once took down. Using only her wits and her wit, Wynonna, along with sister Waverely, associate Agent Dolls, and Wyatt’s cursed-with-immortality-best-friend Doc Holliday, must try to stop the Revenants from taking over the town — and escaping into the world. The show stars Melanie Scrofano (Wynonna Earp), Shamier Anderson (Agent Dolls), Tim Rozon (Doc Holliday), & Dominique Provost-Chalkley (Waverley Earp).

Saturday

Saturday is the series premiere of Deadly Possessions on Travel Channel at 9/8c. Zak Bagans is fulfilling a lifelong dream of opening a museum in downtown Las Vegas, full of the haunted, cursed objects he has been collecting through the years. Each episode features three haunted, iconic items and their owners. They share stories of how these objects have terrorized them and, in some cases, even killed people. Bagans interviews the owners and works with them to get to the root of their “attachment,” so they can free themselves…or at least escape harm from these “deadly possessions.” Items featured in the series include the Dibbuk box, the most haunted object in the world; Robert, the killer doll that inspired the “Chucky” films; a secret possession implicated in the death of actress Natalie Wood; and more.

Following that is the season premiere of The Dead Files on Travel Channel at 10/9c.

Tonight is also the series premiere of He Shed, She Shed on FYI at 10/9c. People across America are cleverly transforming outdoor sheds into supplemental living areas. From pub-sheds used as man caves and shed-quarters serving as alternative work spaces, to the latest trend of she-sheds designed as female-based sanctuaries – sheds are the latest small space craze. What used to be just a humble garden outbuilding is now fast becoming a way for owners to express creativity and to fill a practical space missing from their traditional home. Each episode follows two homeowners, friends or neighbors in the ultimate male vs. female backyard shed showdown – as they build and design a unique he-shed and she-shed. The series also shows off existing sheds across the country and meets with the owners to learn about their inspiration in creating the unique outdoor space.
