gameofsilence412smallTonight is the series premiere of Game of Silence on NBC on a special premiere night. The show follows best friends who have a dark secret they thought was buried 25 years ago, but they soon discover that you can’t run from your past for long. Jackson Brooks is a successful attorney who seems to have it all. He’s engaged to his boss, Marina, and he’s on the fast track to becoming partner at his firm, but his world is turned upside down when his long-lost childhood friends unexpectedly reappear after 25 years. An incident from their past is coming back to complicate all of their lives, so now they need to work together to overcome the issues.

It’s getting mixed reviews, but I’m an optimist and willing to give it the benefit of the doubt for the first few episodes at least. There’s always time for a new drama to spice up the TV schedule.

On tonight’s episode, “Pilot,” Jackson Brooks has it all – a gorgeous fiancée, a beautiful house, and a red-hot legal career. However, when his childhood friends reappear one day seeking his help to avenge a 25-year-old wrong, his perfect life is turned upside down. With the news that their friend Boots has been murdered, they are forced to confront a terrible secret from their past.

Find out if this drama is going to be on your must-watch list tonight at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching The Voice, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, and Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D..

izombie412smallTonight, the second season of iZombie comes to a close with a special 2-hour finale. Last week, Liv ate the brain of a type-A, overachieving student, giving her a personality not unlike how she used to be pre-Zombie, and this led to some soul-searching. Back at home, Major told Ravi the truth about his involvement as the Chaos Kidnapper – that Max Rager had made him kidnap folks or else they would kill Liv and him. Major wanted to take down Vaughn and Max Rager, so Ravi tried to convince him to take the cure. However, this would cause Major to lose his memories, so they came up with a plan for him to try to scratch Vaughn and turn him into a zombie. Meanwhile, Blaine, who couldn’t remember any of the bad things he had done, went to see Ravi, who filled him in on his sordid past. And elsewhere, a witness identified Major as the man who stole the dog from one of the Chaos Killer victims, and just as Major was making plans to join Vaughn on a trip, Dale and her men showed up to arrest Major.

Will the gang be able to rescue Major and clear his name before it’s too late? (There’s not really a safe way for him to feed behind bars?!) Will the truth finally come out about Vaughn, and is it too late to stop him from using Max Rager to kick off a major zombie apocalypse? It should be a fun and exciting 2 hours! I can’t wait to see what kind of cliffhanger they leave us with until the fall!

On tonight’s first episode, “Dead Beat,” Liv and Ravi need help and find an unlikely ally in Blaine; Babineaux and Dale Bozzio pursue a new lead in an old case; sleazy Brant Stone comes to Major’s rescue; Vaughn’s evil side reaches a whole new level of mean. Then, in “Salivation Army,” Liv, Babineaux, and Major crash Vaughn’s Super Max Rager party, where Rob Thomas performs a song from his solo career. Meanwhile, Blaine reaches out to Peyton for help, which does not sit well with Ravi.

See how the season ends tonight on The CW starting at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., Game of Silence, New Girl, Brooklyn Nine-Nine, The Grinder, and Chrisley Knows Best.
