If We Controlled Your Remote… 9/29/16

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

Kyle’s Choice

goodplace929smallThe Good Place has quickly become one of my favorite comedies. It’s so quirky and fun, and I really enjoy the serialized nature of the story and how each episode ends with some huge bomb-dropping twist. In the last episode, Eleanor was convinced that Tahani had left her the note saying “You Don’t Belong Here” and tried to find a way to confirm her suspicions. Meanwhile, Tahani was growing increasingly lonely and frustrated by Jianyu’s vow of silence, and Chidi asked Michael to be his advisor for his ethics manuscript, but the advice he received was discouraging. The episode ended with the big reveal that it was Jianyu who left the note for Eleanor, and he broke his vow of silence to tell her that he doesn’t belong either.

Whoa! What is going on?! Who is Jianyu, really, and was he as bad as Eleanor on earth? Are they the only two, or how many other people also got accidentally sent to the Good Place, and why?! How will the already-stressed Chidi react when he finds out, and will he have to take on a second student? I’m excited to see what other fun twists and turns lie ahead!

On tonight’s episode, “Jason Mendoza,” Eleanor faces a tough test in her bid to remain in hiding. Also, Tahani is enlisted to help a fellow neighbor fulfill her true purpose.

I’ll also be watching/recording Grey’s Anatomy, Superstore, The Blacklist, Pitch, and 60 Days In.
