Tonight is the series premiere of The Mick on FOX at 8/7c. Mackenzie aka “Mickey” (Kaitlin Olson, It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia) is an unapologetic degenerate, who suddenly finds herself stuck in affluent Greenwich, CT, raising her spoiled niece and nephews: Sabrina(Sofia Black-D’Elia, The Night Of), an ambitious, 18-going-on-30-year-old who is a worthy adversary to Mickey; Chip (Thomas Barbusca, Middle School: The Worst Years of My Life), 13, an arrogant, entitled neo-con-in-the-making with an extremely punchable face; and Ben (newcomer Jack Stanton), seven, an adorably fragile nerd. It’s pretty much everything Mickey has never wanted. Regardless, she’s determined to rise to the occasion and transform these little monsters into honest, hard-working, decent members of society – something she knows absolutely nothing about. Being a mother was never in Mickey’s game plan, but these kids desperately need a parent. And as irresponsible as Mickey has been her entire life, she may discover that responsibility and motherhood aren’t the buzzkill she always thought they would be. The series also stars Carla Jimenez (Raising Hope) and Scott MacArthur (Angie Tribeca).

Tonight is the series premiere of Ransom on CBS at 8:30/7:30c, before it moves to its regular night and time later this week on Saturdays at 8/7c. Top crisis and hostage negotiator Eric Beaumont uses his insight into human behavior to resolve the most difficult kidnap and ransom cases, and save lives. Beaumont’s team is brought in to save lives when no one else can. He understands criminals better than they do and uses his insight into human behavior to resolve the most difficult kidnap and ransom cases. Despite the stakes, he refuses to resort to violence, even when confronted by some of the most dangerous criminals in the world. While Beaumont’s considerable powers of manipulation make him the best at what he does professionally, they often complicate his relationships with family, friends and colleagues. His team consists of psych-profiler Oliver Yates, ex-cop Zara Hallam and aspiring investigator Maxine Carlson. Maxine, the newest member, is eager to prove herself, but a dangerous secret from her past may pose a threat that even the great Eric Beaumont is unable to resolve. Luke Roberts, Sarah Green, Brandon Jay McLaren, and Nazneed Contractor star.
