If We Controlled Your Remote… 5/5/17

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

Megan’s Choice #1

Tonight is the season finale of Blue Bloods, and I am both excited and sad. It has been a great season overall, but I was really hoping we would have seen more relationship growth between Jamie and Eddie by now. Hopefully the writers get their game together next season, because my shipper dreams are dying.

On last week’s episode, Erin discovered someone from her office stole evidence for her case and set out to prove it. Eventually, she did get Gary to admit he did it, and her case was saved. Elsewhere, Danny had to learn to play well with two Russian officers when they fell into a case together involving a KGB agent who opened up fire in a restaurant after a woman refused to go back to Russia with him. They solved the case, and Danny was beyond ready to send those Russian officers back before they drove him even crazier.

On tonight’s episode, “The Thin Blue Line,” when Danny intercepts a shipment of several million dollars that was heading to a drug cartel in Mexico, he becomes a target when they come back for revenge. Also, Jamie works independently to track down a serial killer who preys on the elderly, and Mayor Poole confides in Frank that he plans to retire.

To see how Jamie does solo, tune in to CBS 10/9c.

Megan’s Choice #2

It’s hard to believe that the season for Hawaii Five-0 is almost over, but I’m happy that the end of the season often brings the highest caliber of episodes. Last week’s episode had Danny taking a walk down memory lane about the case he worked just before he met McGarrett and joined Five-0. It was sweet watching Danny solve the case that eluded him, and it was great that the rest of team could assist him – even saving his life. I’m curious to see where they go next season and if Danny ends up sticking around. I know he probably won’t, but a girl can dream.

On tonight’s episode, “He ke’u na ka ‘alae a Hina (A Croaking By Hina’s Mudhen),” when McGarrett gets a tip that someone is plotting a terrorist attack on Oahu, Five-0 searches for those behind it before it’s too late. Also, Chin and Abby have a very difficult decision to make. Willie Garson guest stars.

To find out what decision is causing Chin and Abby issues, tune in to CBS at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching First Dates, Undercover Boss, The Toy Box, and Ginormous Food.
