I loved the first season and first half of the second season of To Tell the Truth. I never watched reruns of the original, but I love this new version, hosted by Anthony Anderson – and frankly, by his mother, who sits on the sidelines and interjects her own commentary. LOL The celebrities are usually fun to watch as they try to figure out who is lying and who is telling the truth. The best ones are usually the ones who really get into it. They don’t worry about what they look or sound like – they just let loose and have fun, really get into the spirit of the show.

On tonight’s episode, celebrities Justin Long, Arielle Kebbel, Nikki Glaser, and Kal Penn are presented with a variety of participants with interesting traits, from the only person in the world to bike to the South Pole, to the “Doggy Designer to the Stars,” as well as Usher’s choreographer.

See who is lying and who is telling the truth tonight on ABC at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing MasterChef, Big Star Little Star, Brother vs Brother, Cutthroat Kitchen, The F Word, Blood Drive, & Lip Sync Battle.

People would think that given the amount of competitive cooking shows I watch, I’d be bored of them by now, but they’d be wrong. I still love them. There is something entertaining about watching people at their most chaotic in the kitchen and see them persevere to present great dishes. When they don’t persevere, it’s also amusing to watch Gordon Ramsay tell them that they didn’t do well.

I really enjoy MasterChef, and I love the way Ramsay shows tough love to the home cooks. This season is full of a lot of characters, but I’m hoping that we’ll see some better dishes be presented over the rest of the season. Last week, when they called up the three dishes that stood out, I kind of felt bad for the cooks because they thought they had the best dishes, only turned out they had the worst. Looking at the dishes later, it was a good pick for the bottom three. They looked terrible!

On tonight’s episode, “Feeding the Lifeguards,” the top 19 cooks compete in the first team challenge of the season, which involves preparing fresh fish on the beach for 101 lifeguards, who cast their votes for their favorite dish.

Find out how these home cooks manage to get along tonight on FOX at 8/7c.

I’ll also be watching The F Word.
