Tonight is the series premiere of Guy’s Big Project on Food Network at 9/8c. Guy Fieri has visited thousands of restaurants on Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives, literally putting food-road shows on the map. Now, Guy is searching for Food Network’s next big culinary-travel series. After receiving and sorting through thousands of submissions from hopeful hosts with promising concepts, Guy and his team of food and television experts narrowed it down to a final group of prospects that will vie to have their idea developed into a show on Guy’s Big Project. The six-episode journey documents every twist and turn as the prospects move from initial pitch through development to network review, to the ultimate end goal: the premiere of a new show on Food Network.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Xscape: Still Kickin’ It on Bravo at 9/8c. The show will follow the four original members of the multi-platinum hit 90’s girl group Xscape, as they make their triumphant return to the stage after nearly 20 years apart. Since the breakup, Kandi has become a sought after Grammy-winning songwriter and successful entrepreneur, but is she ready to share the spotlight again? Putting her music on hold to make family her number one priority, Tiny is keen on relaunching herself in the industry, but just as her music career is on the rise her marriage is tested. LaTocha is all about focusing on the group and pushing them to the next level of super stardom. Meanwhile, Tamika, who continued in the industry over the years, is looking to get back to her roots with where her music career all started. With two sold out shows in Detroit, performances at the BET Awards and Essence Festival, will the group be able to reconcile and look past bubbled up resentments and give their fans the comeback they’ve been eagerly anticipating?

Tonight is also the series premiere of Smilf on Showtime at 10/9c. The show will take a raw and honest comedic look at a single, 20-something from Southie, Bridgette (Frankie Shaw), whose desires for relationships, sex, and a career collide with the realities of young, single motherhood. Adapting her Sundance Film Festival Jury award-winning short film, Shaw will star, write, produce and direct the semi-autobiographical comedy. Rosie O’Donnell will costar in her first series regular TV role as Tutu, Bridgette’s prideful Southie mother who lives by her own set of rules. The series also stars Alex Brightman, Austin Abrams, Connie Britton, Graham Rogers, Kimberley Crossman, Kyle Vincent Terry, Marc Webber, Miguel Gomez, Raven Goodwin, & Samara Weaving.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Vegas Cakes on Food Network at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. Freed’s Bakery in Las Vegas has been making magic happen for fifty-eight years with their famous cakes, and Food Network reveals the creativity and skill that goes into these unique creations. Freed’s may look like a neighborhood bakery, but the cake artists in their secret back room make the most fun, outrageous and elaborate cakes in town. From a giant Cadillac Cake for the Viva Las Vegas rockabilly weekend and a stunt man’s birthday cake illustrating a legendary record jump to cakes for Las Vegas legends like Mr. and Mrs. Wayne Newton and Penn and Teller, Freed’s sugary creations wow their guests every time.

Tonight is the series premiere of Stove Tots on FYI at 9/8c. Viewers will see a first-hand look at the cut-throat world of junior culinary competitions. The series will follow the next generation of cooking masters — young maestros of the kitchen — as they prepare and compete in cook-offs across the U.S. These culinary prodigies have sophisticated palates, impressive knife skills, competitive drives and extremely involved parents. Each episode will feature a new group of culinary wunderkinds, along with their overbearing parents, as they prepare recipes, search for inspiration and deal with the pressures of competition. It all leads up to competition day, where three culinary phenoms will go head-to-head in a two-round elimination tournament.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Christmas Cookie Challenge on Food Network at 10/9c. There is no better way to ring in the holiday season than with decadent baked goods galore and the most irresistible holiday treats! Holiday cookies are a seasonal staple and they are more than mere sweets — they are gifts, mementos of childhood, and most certainly made with pride. Host Eddie Jackson challenges festive and talented cookie makers in this seasonal seven-episode competition. In each episode, five daring cookie makers must prove their holiday skills through two rounds, as lead judge Ree Drummond, joined by a rotating panel of guest judges, including Kimberly Bailey, James Briscione, Damiano Carrara, Dan Langan, Jamika Pessoa, Jordan Pilarski, Aarti Sequeira, and Joy Wilson, determine which baker will have the best Christmas ever, walking away with a $10,000 prize.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of The Healer on TLC at 10/9c. When Charlie Goldsmith was 18 he discovered that he had an ability to heal people that defies belief and what we know about human capability — an energy healer like no other from Melbourne, Australia. The show follows Charlie’s life and work as he is sought after by athletes, celebrities and people from all walks of life hoping to be cured of their chronic and debilitating ailments. The ability to heal is a power that many are skeptical of, and he’s on a path working with scientists and medical professionals to bring credibility to his work. Charlie often visits the United States to continue spreading awareness to his often-misunderstood approach to healing. He has helped relieve people from chronic injuries, auto immune conditions, infections, severe body pain, inflammation, allergies and many other conditions often taking less than 60 seconds.

Tonight is the series premiere of Iron Chef Showdown on Food Network at 9/8c. The elite Iron Chef culinary society is back on Food Network full-force with fresh competitors, secret ingredients, and over-the-top action. Hosted by the inimitable Alton Brown and set in the newly renovated Kitchen Stadium, each standalone episode pits two up-and-coming chef competitors against each other, but only one earns the right to face a legendary Iron Chef and answer life’s most savory question: “whose cuisine reigns supreme?” The Chairman (Mark Dacascos) and floor reporter Jaymee Sire join Alton as the culinary drama unfolds each week, with Iron Chefs Bobby Flay, Jose Garces, Alex Guarnaschelli, Michael Symon, and newest member Stephanie Izard each taking on talented, determined challengers over the ten-episode season.

Tonight is a series premiere of The Job Interview on CNBC at 10/9c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10:30/9:30c. The show goes inside one of life’s most pressure-filled experiences — where the words you say, the clothes you wear, and even the expression on your face can mean the difference between success and failure. This ten-episode observational series brings viewers into the room as real employers conduct real interviews with real candidates, only one of whom will land an offer. As candidates step off the elevator, every bead of sweat, awkward handshake, and nervous laugh is captured on camera. The stakes are high, the interviews are real and somebody’s going to get hired.

Terricka, his wife, loves having Antonio home to help raise their five, soon to be six, kids, but Antonio’s OCD, intense competitiveness, and his raising their kids the same way he would coach a football team may prove to be too much for the whole house! There’s not exactly a playbook for parenting, but as a team, Antonio and Terricka are making their own rules.
