Tonight is the series premiere of No Activity on CBSAA at 8:30/7:30c. From executive producers Will Ferrell, Adam McKay and Funny Or Die, the show celebrates the mundane in what should be a high-stakes sting operation. Set against the world of a major drug cartel bust, the series follows two low-level cops who have spent far too much time in a car together; two criminals who are largely kept in the dark; two dispatch workers who haven’t really clicked; and two Mexican tunnelers who are in way too small a space considering they’ve only just met. The cast includes Patrick Brammall and Tim Meadows along with guest stars Mark Berry, Arturo Castro, Mackenzie Davis, Bridget Everett, Will Ferrell, Darren Gilshenan, Travis Guba, Jake Johnson, Sunita Mani, Jason Mantzoukas, Adrian Martinez, Jesse Plemons, Fred Pohl, Alex Rodriguez, Amy Sedaris, J.K. Simmons, Courtenay Taylor, Michaela Watkins and Daniel Zolghadri.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Unexpected on TLC at 10/9c. TLC explores the ups and downs of three pregnant teen couples and the parents who raised them. Pulling back the curtain on the complicated family affair that is teenage pregnancy, the series will look at various stages of each pregnancy and the first few weeks of parenthood with teens who happened to have been raised by teens. The series focuses on three teen couples who are entirely unprepared to have a child and their parents or grandparents who must step in and help through this huge life change. Tensions mount between the families as everyone has conflicting ideas for what is best for the young parents and their child – from where they will live to whether or not they should get married. TLC is working in partnership with the National Campaign to Prevent Teen and Unplanned Pregnancy (The National Campaign) to help viewers use Unexpected as a way to spark meaningful conversations about unplanned pregnancies. Teen and unplanned pregnancy have dropped by more than half since the early 1990s, according to the National Campaign. However, nearly one in four girls will get pregnant by age 20, and children of teen moms are more likely to become teen parents themselves. Based on themes covered in the show, The National Campaign is creating discussion-starters, information and tips for families, teens, and other trusted adults to help them talk openly and ensure all young people have the power to decide if, when and under what circumstances to get pregnant. These family resources will be available for viewers at TLC.com/Unexpected.

This code has baffled some of the greatest minds in cryptology for over 50 years. The show opens up a new investigation into the mystery of this twisted serial assassin. This five-part limited series, features a team of top investigators and code-breakers, working in tandem with a super-computer, known as CARMEL, the first of its kind programmed to think like a killer. Tonight is the series premiere of Bushcraft Build-Off on Discovery Channel at 10/9c. Hosted by primitive skills master Matt Graham, this is an all-new competition series where elite builders compete in a gruelling, seven-day race against the clock. And this is a bushcraft challenge, so there’s no hardware store in sight. The builders can only use the natural materials in their immediate surroundings. This competition will test the primitive building skills that have allowed survivalists to thrive in the wilderness for generations. But is now amplified on the web and through social media as these young masters attempt to outdo one another with more and more elaborate builds. Leading the Bushcraft Build-Off charge is legendary bushcrafter Matt Graham (Dual Survival). Each week, Matt challenges two master bushcrafters to compete head-to-head in builds that test their abilities in different environments, topography and primitive living challenges. Each build pushes the competitors’ skills, stamina and creativity to the limit as they try to create eye-popping builds — from bridges to weapons to structures to transportation — using nothing but their hard-won skills, a few simple hand tools and whatever resources nature provides.

Tonight is the complete first season premiere of Back on Sundance Now at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. The six-part dark comedy follows Stephen (David Mitchell) as he tries to follow in his recently deceased father’s footsteps and take over the family business. But his plans are soon foiled by the unexpected return of his estranged foster brother, Andrew (Robert Webb). After the death of his father, a pub landlord and local legend, Stephen (Mitchell) — whose only achievements so far have been marriage, followed by divorce, and a slightly disappointing refurbish of a pub — finally has a chance to shine as he is set to take over the family business. But his plans are interrupted when the charming Andrew (Webb), a former foster child briefly raised by Stephen’s parents, turns up out of the blue at his father’s funeral and is eager to renew his relationship with the closest thing to a family he has ever known. While Andrew quickly charms the rest of Stephen’s dysfunctional family, including his mother Ellen, sister Cass and uncle Geoff, Stephen quickly begins to resent Andrew, who he sees as a glib, dangerous sociopath who’s about to steal his family, his business and his life.

Finally, tonight is the complete first season of There’s… Johnny on Hulu at 3:01AM/2:01AMc. 1972, Burbank, California. 19-year-old Andy Klavin (Ian Nelson) is surprised to have stumbled his way into a job at The Tonight Show starring his hero, Johnny Carson. A coming-of-age story, we follow this kid who up till now has never left Nebraska, and is now caught up in the glamorous, fast lane of Hollywood. Sex, drugs, rock & roll – and show business; it’s a long, magical journey ahead. The show also stars Tony Danza, Jane Levy, David Hoffman, T’Keyah Crystal Keymah, Andrew Schulz, Nate Smith, Daniel Strauss, & Roger Bart. Paul Reiser (Mad About You) is the creator/writer/producer.
