If We Controlled Your Remote… 3/1/18

Have you ever been at a loss as to what to watch? Too many shows to pick from? We’re here to give you our opinions on what we feel is worth watching. Check it out and then let us know in the comments below what you’re choosing for tonight!

Jenny’s Choice

The last new episode of Chicago Fire was a blast…in more ways than one. First, Casey and Severide butted heads over how best to rescue an officer stuck in the driver’s seat of a prisoner transport van – in the end, Casey agreed they had to pull him out fast after the prisoner in back began kicking the guy’s seat, which meant he was injuring him more. Then when Casey got the back door open, the prisoner jumped out and ran, and Severide had to chase him down. Severide got a commendation for that action, which he thought his old family friend, Chief Grissom, put him up for. Grissom was sniffing around about the disagreement between Casey and Severide, but Severide shut him down, finally walking out of the bar later on, telling him he wanted to do things his own way, not Grissom’s, basically by running toward danger to help people, rather than stepping on people’s shoulders to get ahead. Nowhere was that shown more clear than the end at the chemical plant, where he and Casey put themselves in danger by holding a pipe closed while everyone else got out. The only way out for them was to…jump off the roof into the water. Really?! Neither of them are leaving the show, so I can only assume they’re going to be okay. But that is a BIG LEAP (Hah! See what I did there?) to think they could reach the river!

On tonight’s episode, “The F is For,” after photos of Casey and Severide jumping off the roof during a heroic rescue make the front page of the newspaper, Boden unwillingly agrees for the photographer to chronicle a day-in-the-life story at the Firehouse. Dawson and Brett are on a mission to find out what keeps happening to Gerald (guest star Jonathan Isaac Frank), a frequent flier they know who lives on the streets. Meanwhile, Herrmann decides to take up life-coaching as a side job, and Kidd makes a decision regarding her living arrangement with Severide.

Find out what happens when the photographer hangs out at the station tonight on NBC at 10/9c.

I’ll also be watching/DVRing The Big Bang Theory, American Ninja Warrior: Ninja vs Ninja, Top Chef, Will & Grace, Beat Bobby Flay, Impractical Jokers, & S.W.A.T.
