This morning is the series premiere of The Day I Picked My Parents on A&E at 10AM/9AMc, followed by four more episodes, including the series finale. The original limited five-hour documentary series follows ten foster children who are part of a revolutionary program operated by the nonprofit organization Kidsave in California, as they search to find their forever home. For the first time in their lives, they will have input into their own destiny as they decide where they want to live and who will be their family. Kidsave partners with Los Angeles County Department of Children and Family Services to turn the adoption process on its head. Through a pioneering program Kidsave developed, kids who have been in foster care for much of their lives are being asked what they want, how they want to live and are given the power to picking their own parents.

Tonight is also the series premiere of Dog: Impossible on Nat Geo WILD at 10/9c. The show invites viewers on an inspiring, uplifting journey with dog behavior specialist Matt Beisner, who has dedicated his life to working with some of the most dangerous, most aggressive and most misunderstood dogs in the country. These are dogs everyone else has given up on – even other trainers. In many cases, they are in danger of being put down. But, while everyone else may think there is no hope for these dogs, Beisner is making a difference in the lives of dogs and their owners around the country.

Tonight is the 90-minute series premiere of A Very Brady Renovation on HGTV at 9/8c. Here’s the story… America has passionately followed HGTV’s Brady Bunch journey — from the network’s purchase of the world-famous North Hollywood house in 2018 to the monumental renovation that made the home a replica of the original TV set design. Now, HGTV is set to unveil the astonishing transformation in the hugely anticipated series A Very Brady Renovation. The six Brady Bunch siblings, Barry Williams (Greg), Maureen McCormick (Marcia), Christopher Knight (Peter), Eve Plumb (Jan), Mike Lookinland (Bobby), and Susan Olsen (Cindy), teamed up with HGTV’s biggest renovation star experts Jonathan and Drew Scott (Property Brothers), Mina Starsiak Hawk, and Karen E Laine (Good Bones), siblings Leanne and Steve Ford (Restored by the Fords), Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential), and Lara Spencer (Flea Market Flip), to execute the boldest home renovation the world has ever seen. HGTV cameras captured more than 9,000 hours of the demo, renovation, and meticulous replication of the Brady Bunch house. During production, there was so much incredible, fun activity that the series will kick off with an extended 90-minute blockbuster premiere episode.

Tonight is the series premiere of Ghosted: Love Gone Missing on MTV at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 10/9c. MTV nabbed America’s Bachelorette sweetheart Rachel Lindsay and recording artist Travis Mills to host its new docuseries. In the eight-episode docuseries, Lindsay and Mills help distraught individuals track down and confront a former lover, friend, or family member in an effort to uncover the harsh realities of why they “ghosted” them. The term “ghosting,” the act of ending a relationship by abruptly cutting off communication without explanation, was born out of the current ever-changing digital landscape. The investigative series explores how social media has connected the world more than ever, while also undercutting our ability to deeply connect and communicate.

Tonight is the series premiere of The Fixers on BYUtv at 7/6c. This is a one-hour high-stakes reality series in which an “A-team” of experienced builders travels around the world to remote locations in significant need. By leveraging their own amazing abilities and the combined strength of the local community, they work tirelessly to complete a life-changing project and bring about radical change. From bringing electricity to an impoverished orphanage to providing a reliable source of fresh water to a community, these four “fixers” make astonishing transformations and lasting change to the places they visit: Kirin Stone, Courtney Dober (The Bachelor Winter Games), Nick Apostolides, and Ariel Myren.

Tonight is the series premiere of NFL: The Grind on Epix at 9/8c. Broadcaster Rich Eisen will host this new series, which will serve as both a weekly destination for the final word on the week in football, as well as an up close and personal, inside look at life in the NFL — on and off the field — across the endurance test that is the NFL season. In addition to a weekly deep dive into the games, each episode will feature original field pieces — each hosted by an NFL veteran — that will give fans an inside look behind the grind, documenting never-before-told stories of NFL players, coaches and more as they navigate the season.

Finally, tonight is also the series premiere of Making Good on BYUtv at 9:30/8:30c. This is a 30-minute unscripted series chronicling one man’s quest to serve. Host Kirby Heyborne (The Three Stooges) loves helping people and eagerly volunteers for organizations regardless of the circumstances, his background or his experience. He channels enthusiasm to learn about new ways to make a difference, getting his hands dirty working side-by-side with founders of charities and non-profits who are touching lives across the United States. Along the way, he shares laughs, tears and songs with his newfound friends and learns exactly what it takes to make good.

Overnight last night was the complete first season premiere of Unbelievable on Netflix. After a young woman is accused of lying about a rape, two female detectives investigate a spate of eerily similar attacks. Inspired by true events. The show stars Toni Collette, Kaitlyn Dever, Liza Lapira, Merritt Wever, Austin Hebert, Dale Dickey, Danielle Macdonald, Elizabeth Marvel, Eric Lange, Kai Lennox, Omar Maskati, & Vanessa Bell Calloway.

Overnight last night was also the complete first season premiere of Undone on Amazon. This is a half-hour, genre-bending, animated series that explores the elastic nature of reality through its central character Alma, a twenty-eight-year-old living in San Antonio, Texas. After getting into a car accident and nearly dying, Alma finds she has a new relationship to time. She develops this new ability in order to find out the truth about her father’s death. It stars Bob Odenkirk, Rosa Salazar, Tyler Posey, John Corbett, Angelique Cabral, Constane Marie, Daveed Diggs, Jeanne Tripplehorn, Sheila Vand, & Siddarth Dhananjay.

Tonight is the series premiere of Red Bull Peaking on The CW at 9/8c, followed by a 2nd new episode at 9:30/8:30c. Each episode is an intimate portrait of an athlete, told in their own words and experienced from their perspective, immersing you in their world the days before, during and immediately after one of the biggest moments of their year.

Finally, tonight is the series premiere of Murder in the Bayou on Showtime at 9/8c. The series come from director Matthew Galkin (Kevorkian) and author Ethan Brown, whose New York Times Best Selling book “Murder In The Bayou” is the inspiration for the series. The five-part docu-series investigates the unsolved murders of eight women whose bodies were discovered between 2005 and 2009 in drainage canals and on desolate back roads in and around the town of Jennings, Louisiana in rural Jefferson Davis Parish. In examining the lives of the young female victims — and the violent sex and drug trade they were a part of — the series uncovers the secrets of this troubled town lurking just below the surface. These discoveries lead to even more shocking revelations in the “Jeff Davis 8” case, exposing corruption, bad actors and institutional injustices that have left the citizens of Jennings still searching for truth.
