thewalkingdead1023smallTonight, The Walking Dead returns to finally answer the question that’s on everyone’s minds… Who was at the receiving end of Lucille’s brutal blows?! As the sixth season came to an end, Negan and his Saviors had corralled Rick and the gang into a trap. Negan forced his captives to get on their knees in a line, and then he told them he was going to beat one of them to death with his barbed-wire covered baseball bat. As the season faded out we could hear the gruesome attack but it wasn’t revealed who the victim was. Which of the eleven—Glenn, Maggie, Daryl, Rick, Abraham, Carl, Michonne, Rosita, Sasha, Aaron, or Eugene—was brutally murdered?!

I was really upset when they left us hanging at the end of last season, but even at that point the writers didn’t know which character was going to get killed. And word is that in order to help prevent tonight’s huge reveal from getting spoiled, they actually filmed all 11 death scenes! I can’t wait for tonight’s episode, and I’m hoping one of my favorites isn’t the one whose brains Negan is wiping off of Lucille. I’m really interested to see the aftermath and how long the group will play by Negan’s rules before they ultimately revolt against him – and are hopefully more successful the second time around.

On tonight’s premiere, “The Day Will Come When You Won’t Be,” Negan’s actions will haunt the surviving members of Rick’s group forever.

To see who survives tonight, tune in to AMC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Quantico, Madam Secretary, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Son of Zorn, Family Guy, The Last Man on Earth, Worst Bakers in America, The Strain, Eyewitness, and Westworld.

thewalkingdead43smallTonight, the sixth season of AMC’s The Walking Dead comes to a close with a special 90-minute finale, and it’s likely that one or more major character isn’t going to survive the night. Last week, Carol ran off in the middle of the night and ended up crossing paths with another group of Negan’s men. She was able to escape thanks to putting on her downtrodden weak persona…and the fact that she had a hidden machine gun she had sewn into the sleeve of her jacket. Meanwhile, when the rest of the group learned about Carol’s disappearance, they split up into search parties, while Daryl headed off on his own to find and kill Dwight. Rick and Morgan thought they were tracking Carol, but it ended up just being a walker that resembled her, so they headed back to Alexandria, where Maggie (with a new short haircut) started having extreme stomach pains. Elsewhere, Dwight managed to capture Glenn and Michonne and used them as bait to set a trap for Daryl, which worked. The episode ended with Dwight shooting Daryl and the camera view getting covered in blood. Is Daryl dead?!

I think it’s highly unlikely that Daryl is actually dead (yet) and that all that blood we saw was from some sort of shoulder wound rather than a head shot. However, that still doesn’t put our gang out of danger! Will Dwight take his captives to Negan? Will be finally see Negan, and if so, what’s his style of justice like? Also, what happened to Carol after she got away? Is Maggie in labor, or is she losing the baby? And is her situation life-threatening? It should be an exciting night, and I’m just hoping all of my favorite characters survive!

On tonight’s finale, “Last Day on Earth,” Rick and the group must go outside the walls to save one of their own, but what they experience on the road will change their lives forever.

Find out who lives or dies tonight on AMC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Family, Quantico, The Carmichael Show, The Simpsons, Bob’s Burgers, The Last Man on Earth, Talking Dead, and Last Week Tonight with John Oliver.

Walker - The Walking Dead _ Season 6, Episode 13 - Photo Credit: Gene Page/AMCLast week’s episode of The Walking Dead was really intense – it was like watching a video game. Things started off calm, with Carol delivering homemade beet and acorn cookies to all of the Alexandria residents, including her new beau Tobin. On the other hand, Abraham broke off his relationship with Rosita, which she didn’t take well. When Rick arrived back at the settlement, he had everyone vote whether or not to take preemptive action against the Saviors, and peace-loving Morgan was severely out-voted. So they headed off for a secret raid on Negan’s compound, where they slowly made their way through the building, killing the men one by one in their sleep. (This was the first time Glenn had to kill another human being that wasn’t a walker.) However, when one of the Saviors discovered what was going on, he pulled the fire alarm, and all hell broke loose. Our gang managed to gun down everyone inside, but as they were headed outside, one of the Saviors tried to escape on a motorcycle. Daryl was about to kill the man, when a woman’s voice came over a loudspeaker, ordering them to lower their weapons, followed by “We’ve got a Carol and a Maggie. I’m thinking that’s something you want to chat about.”

How is the gang going to get out of this situation? Who is this woman, and is there any reasoning with her after the massive slaughter of her people? Is this the end for Maggie and/or Carol? I hope not! Where is Negan, and how is he going to react to all of this?

On tonight’s episode, “The Same Boat,” after experiencing a minor success, there is a whole new set of issues when members of the group are taken and held hostage.

Find out if the group can rescue Carol and Maggie tonight on AMC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording The Family, Quantico, Hollywood Game Night, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Family Guy, The Last Man on Earth, Talking Dead, and And Then There Were None.

thewalkingdead214smallTonight, AMC’s The Walking Dead returns for the second half of its sixth season. When we last left off, the fence surrounding Alexandria had been breached and a horde of walkers had been unleashed upon on the town. The group was separated and found themselves trapped in various houses. Deanna discovered that she had been bitten while saving Rick in the initial onslaught. Meanwhile, Ron tried to kill Carl because he thought Carl got Enid killed. Rick had to break down the door to save Carl, which ultimately led to the walkers getting into the house they were hiding in. Elsewhere, Carol finally confronted Morgan about what he was hiding and discovered his Wolf prisoner. Carol attacked Morgan, but he managed to take her down. However, while they were distracted, the Wolf managed to get a hold of Morgan’s staff and knocked him out. He took Denise as his hostage and left the building. Back in the other house, Rick came up with a plan for the group to cover themselves in zombie guts and slowly wade through the sea of walkers outside the house. However, Jessie’s annoying son Sam started calling for his mom just as they were surrounded by the hungry zombies.

Will Sam’s screaming cause the walkers to attack? Who are the people holding Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham at gunpoint? Will Glenn and Maggie finally be reunited? Will the group find a way to take back Alexandria, or is it a lost cause and time to move on to a new location? And will someone please just kill Morgan? His refusal to kill other humans is going to get them all killed!

On tonight’s episode, “No Way Out,” with walkers inside the gates of Alexandria, Rick and the group are scared, outnumbered, and things are only getting worse.

See if/how the group escapes tonight on AMC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, Castle, Bob’s Burgers, The Simpsons, Family Guy, Worst Cooks in America, Talking Dead, Vinyl, and Shameless.

thewalkingdead1129smallTonight is the midseason finale of The Walking Dead. Last week we finally got confirmation of what most people were assuming…that Glenn is indeed alive and that he survived by crawling under the dumpster. After the walkers retreated, he made his way out and came across Enid, who threw him a bottle of water. She tried to run away, but he caught up with her. They found a helium tank and balloons and headed back toward Alexandria.

Back at Alexandria, while Rick and the others were trying to shore up the fence, Spencer took it upon himself to try to cross the massive wall of walkers using a grappling hook and rope, in hopes of getting to a car to lead the walkers away from the town. However, the hook failed and he found himself dangling like a walker dinner, but Rick and the others managed to pull him up in time (though he lost a shoe). Meanwhile, Carol suspected that Morgan was up to something and followed him to where he had one of the Wolves locked up – while she doesn’t know who is in there, she knows Morgan is hiding something; Ron stole some bullets from the armory and was tailing Carl, with his hand on his gun; and Maggie saw the balloons launched by Glenn and now believes her husband is alive. The episode ended with the crack in the church tower growing, causing it collapse into the fence, allowing a flood of Walkers into Alexandria.

How will they stop Alexandria from getting overrun and redirect the walkers elsewhere? Will any of our favorite characters not survive tonight’s midseason finale, or will we just see more unnamed Alexandrians perish? Will Ron actually shoot Carl? Will others find out about Morgan’s secret prisoner? Will Glenn and Maggie finally be reunited? Is Enid one of the Wolves? And what about Daryl and the others? Will they find their way back in time to help?

On tonight’s episode, “Start to Finish,” after having a few moments of peace, trouble finds its way to Alexandria yet again. Only this time, the threat might be too big to defeat.

To see who, if anyone, doesn’t live through tonight, tune in to AMC at 9/8c.

I’ll also be watching/recording Madam Secretary, The Good Wife, Once Upon a Time, Quantico, The Librarians, Talking Dead, Into the Badlands, Getting On, and Homeland.
